Neha and her squad tell us more about their day.
Bride Neha Vora
“I have always loved dressing up and I love experimenting with colors. I harbor a strong love of OTT dressing and this was the perfect opportunity to conceptualize diverse looks before the big day. My love for vibrant hues automatically took me to a bright fuchsia lehenga by Aneesh Agarwal from AZA Fashions that won my heart,” says Neha. Polki and pearl chaanbalis, a maang tikka and a triple layer necklace from Rivaah by Tanishq, alongside an ornate rose gold watch by Titan Raga, upped the glamor of her embroidered lehenga. Rose-toned bold smoky eyes, nude-pink lips and soft blushing cheeks created by Kajol R Paswwan were the perfect beauty accompaniment, while her loose cinnamon hued curls were styled to softly framed her face.
Bridesmaid Vaidehi Ruparel
Vaidehi says, “Apart from being a lot of fun, the experience afforded us a ton of inspiration and ideas, and gave us a unique perspective of shopping and dressing for a wedding. It encouraged us to try things we normally would never have picked otherwise. Among all my friends, I have the most sober sense of dressing and am loyal to my nudes, whites and pastels. With a great deal of convincing from my friends, I wore an exuberant yellow Anushree Reddy ruffle saree with silver gota work that was teamed with an embellished blouse from AZA Fashions. To my surprise, I loved the look! It opened my mind to wearing vibrant colors for Neha’s wedding.”
She paired her outfit with contrasting vintage gold jewellery from Rivaah by Tanishq, and flaunted a pearl-studded gold watch from Titan Raga. Her soft coral lips and cheeks perfectly offset her bold outfit, and her hair styled in soft amber waves looked elegant and modern.
Bridesmaid Payal Jhawar
Payal says, “One of the most important things I learned from the experience is to experiment, as sometimes the outfits we dream of wearing don’t always look as great as imagined. I originally loved the yellow Anushree Reddy saree, but while trying the other outfits, I discovered that it suited Vaidehi more, while an ice blue cape-style top and skirt from Aneesh Agarwal was perfect for me. It completely changed my outlook about wedding shopping.”
Payal paired her outfit with an elegant maang tikka from Rivaah by Tanishq and an asymmetric matte gold watch from Titan Raga. She shares, “I like vibrant makeup and absolutely loved the shimmering blue smoky eyes and fierce, bold highlight on my cheeks that Kajol gave me.” Her dark swept-back hair pulled the whole look together.
Bridesmaid Sanjna Thakeria
Bridesmaid Saachi’s rose-pink lehenga by Aneesh Agarwal from AZA Fashions exuded fabulous femininity. The delicate illusion neckline, net dupatta, and floral motifs lent a romantic vibe to her ensemble which she accessorized with a dainty gold maang tikka from Rivaah by Tanishq. She shares, “Growing up, I have always been a bit of a tomboy and never took much interest in dressing up. This, in fact, was my very first experience with a professional makeup artist, and I loved it. Kajol gave me soft, loose flowing hair and a natural dewy flush that set off my outfit perfectly while staying very true to my personality. The pink statement watch with a jewelled floral design by Titan Raga was my favorite accessory, and is an ideal option for those who prefer minimalist jewellery.”
Bridesmaid Divika Mehta
Divika was impressed by the whole experience, and shares, “When it comes to fashion, I have always stuck to my comfort zone, but this experience exposed me to a whole world of beautiful things that I had never experienced before.”
With most of the gang wearing lehengas, she wanted to try something different and picked a lavender palazzo and kurta outfit with golden filigree work and a net dupatta from AZA Fashions. She accessorized her look with a maang tikka and jhumkas in temple jewellery form by Rivaah by Tanishq. Iridescent crystals of her rose gold watch by Titan Raga added delicate grace to her look. Contoured cheeks and shimmering smoky eyes added further drama and complimented her outfit perfectly.
