The girls made their way to the luxurious suites of the Renaissance Hotel, Mumbai and were immediately dazzled by the plush interiors, sprawling spaces and beautiful vistas. High fashion ensembles, stunning jewellery, professional makeup and the impeccable hospitality of the luxurious hotel were the highlights of the day for these girls! The bride squad looked simply amazing! We decode their looks.

EMC Décor beautifully managed to weave the past into this special day by incorporating lots of vintage elements – think roses and vintage storage boxes, delicate string lights, antique lamps and a unique mailbox for the girls to drop their messages for the beautiful bride! A reminder of a bygone era, this vintage themed wedding décor added a charming feel to the experience.

Bride-to-be Zoya Singh
An avid follower of WeddingSutra’s insightful content via the site and its social media pages Zoya is a master of beauty and fashion trends and had always envisioned herself in a beautiful lehenga by Shyamal and Bhumika. Naturally, she was ecstatic at the chance to wear the fuchsia lehenga with gold work. She also loved the jewellery, “I was absolutely floored by the gorgeous jewellery and it definitely made me look like a royal bride!” Her gorgeous set from Just Jewellery featured pieces studded with white and colored stones. She wore a vibrant necklace with intricate designs and earrings that matched. The bangles and maang tikka added the quintessential traditional touch to the entire look.

Makeup artist Shamita Gogia chose to go with the flow and create a soft visage with a pink pout. The bride smiled that beautiful smile as she enthused, “Everyone made me feel so comfortable and it was an absolute fun day with my girls. Shamita shared some great makeup tips for my big day and the photographers helped me pose and look my candid best.”

Ananya Lamba
The moment Ananya laid eyes on the milk-toffee saree by Shyamal and Bhumika with its burgundy blouse, she knew it was the outfit for her. A vintage color combination, she paired the stunning ensemble with a beautiful waist belt and statement earrings and cuff crafted in gunmetal from Just Jewellery. The minimalism brought oomph and accentuated the luxe of her attire.

Mabel D’silva let Ananya’s natural complexion shine through and brought drama with exaggerated winged eyes. Ananya says, “My favorite part was the four of us getting ready together – the clothes, the makeup, the hair. It was the perfect way to spend time with Zoya before her wedding. She looked absolutely stunning and the vintage theme with the flowers, the lights and set up was so her!” We think Ananya looked wonderful too!

Cheryl D’souza
Cheryl wanted to mix and match a traditional and contemporary aesthetic. She picked a fabulous gown with beautiful tulle sleeves and bead work by Shyamal and Bhumika. All she needed to accessorize was statement earrings and a kundan stonework ring from Just Jewellery. A touch of tradition with royal decadence, the gorgeous kundan earrings and the ring were perfect to complete the glamorous look.

Going with the dreamy romance of the look, Mabel teased her gorgeous tresses into soft waves. Then Mabel worked her magic and let Cheryl’s natural complexion shine through.

Gayatri Kannan
Gayatri’s powder pink Shyamal and Bhumika lehenga-gown was fortified with chunky gold embroidery so she accessorized with jewellery crafted with elements of peach enamel work. Crafted by Just Jewellery, the feminine designs brought a touch of opulence to the vintage glamour theme. With makeup structured to up the glamor ante, Gayatri was thrilled with the whole shebang, “The outfit was a dream! Shamita is a perfectionist and outstanding with hair and makeup. This was definitely a once in a lifetime kind of a day for us!”
