Twinkal Mehta’s bachelorette photoshoot in scenic South Mumbai
This bride and her besties had a great time getting professionally styled and posing prettily for the camera!
Winner of the ‘WeddingSutra X Happyframes Bridesquad Photo Shoot Contest,’ Twinkal Mehta posed with her besties, including two bridesmen, in charming locations across South Mumbai. Capturing all the merriment and memories was WeddingSutra Favorite – Happyframes. Here are a few glimpses of the day.
Your friends are the family you choose, and they have probably seen you through all the myriad ups and downs of life. Amidst the chaos of wedding planning, Twinkal wanted to honor her friends for always being there for her. She shares, “I can’t go a single day without talking to my squad. I always had a BFF shoot on my wishlist, and thanks to Happyframes and WeddingSutra, it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.” The colonial architecture of South Mumbai made for a breathtaking yet nostalgic backdrop for the shoot. The bride and her squad wore beautiful outfits by Mahima Mahajan, and were styled by Stylist Sumalya Mehra and her team for the first look.
For the first look, the girls made a pretty picture in peach. Twinkal wore a rich velvet lehenga with an embroidered bustier blouse and net dupatta, while her bridesmaids looked svelte in flowing gowns. The two bridesmen donned kurta pyjama ensembles with bandi jackets from TISA Studio.
Twinkal paired her outfit with heavy traditional jewellery while the bridesmaids opted for minimalistic accessories by Preeti Mohan and carried gorgeous embellished silver bags from Love to Bag. The girls left their tresses loose while the bride sported a messy loose bun. Their beautiful glowing looks were thanks to the makeup expertise of Richa Thakkar. The steps of the Asiatic Library which has been featured in countless Bollywood movies and songs served as the backdrop and lent an air of vintage charm to the photos.
“We were so exhausted by the end of the first look that we almost didn’t do the second outfit. However, the enthusiastic team of Happyframes encouraged us and filled with us with renewed excitement. Looking back, we are so grateful and wouldn’t trade the memories for anything.” The second look was shot at Nariman Point with the iconic Mumbai skyline as the backdrop. The girls were given sleek hairdos and glam makeovers to go with their own chic and contemporary outfits.
Talking about her experience with Happyframes, Twinkal shares, “What impressed me most was their enthusiasm and dedication to their craft. They were perfectionists and wouldn’t stop motivating us till they got the perfect shot. They captured our looks in the most enchanting frames, and I couldn’t be happier”.
