Anviksha’s flawless look was a sum of a number of parts that played an important role in heightening her beauty. Her makeup took on a stylish stance, especially with her bold lips. Deep hued pouts that are the making waves this season are as versatile as it gets, and pair wonderfully with both contemporary and traditional ensembles. In order to embrace this trend, makeup artist Kajol R Paswwan relied on high-quality products by Lakmé Absolute. The vast range of cosmetics allowed her to bring to life her vision with utmost precision, and its long-lasting formulas of the products had the bride looking perfect without any touch-ups. The highlights of her getup, however, were the ornaments by Kalyan Jewellers that were an example of fine craftsmanship. The baubles were paired effortlessly with the beautiful saree from Shikha Dhandhia who ensured that the combination only added to Anviksha’s gracefulness.

The Picture Perfect India team had a close eye on every little aspect of the day, and owing to their expert photography skills, were able to capture all the precious details from the day. The terraces of Jade Garden that overlook the breathtaking skyline of Mumbai extended that most fitting ambiance to this shoot. Taking the beauty of it all a notch higher with their setup was Vivaah Wedding Decor Stylist whose work aligned with the concept exceptionally well.

Anviksha’s look was adorned with handpicked pieces from the Muhurat Collection by Kalyan Jewellers, a range of bridal jewellery that caters to brides from all states, combining the best of traditional and contemporary designs from across the country, including temple jewellery, Polki, diamond pieces, gemstone jewellery and much more. She was decked up in a magical combination of timeless sensibilities and new-age motifs brought to life as stunning chokers, grand necklaces, earrings and elegant bangles, channelling the beauty and allure of the perfect Telugu bride. The Kandabaranam or the choker crafted using dazzling diamonds also featured circular motifs evocative of the gold coins that are a part of the bride’s wedding jewellery. The piece was layered over the modern interpretation of the Nakshi Haram which explored nature-inspired patterns. Exotic emeralds added a touch of colour matching the green hues in her Polki bangles, beautifully weaving the different jewellery styles together. Thrilled about the jewellery that she was wearing Anviksha said, “While brides for this region as usually seen wearing a lot of gold, I absolutely loved wearing diamonds that feature ethnic designs. Every piece that I had on looked stunning and matched with the saree so well.”

Shikha picked a bright pink silk s saree from Warp n’ Weft that displayed a chequered pattern and elephant motifs for Anviksha. The drape was edged with a paisley border that won the bride’s heart! She shares, “I am a South Indian and I was so pleased with this saree and the way it was draped on me. I thought Shikha did a great job putting all of it together. The styling enabled me to get a clearer idea of how I wanted to look like on my big day.”

Next, it was time for Anviksha to sit comfortably on a chair and let makeup artist Kajol R Paswwan work her magic. She gave her the most breathtaking look with the help of cosmetics by Lakmé Absolute. To achieve what she had in mind, she applied the Lakmé Absolute Matte Revolution Lip Color in Nutty Chocolate. Infused with hydrating raspberry seed oil, the lipstick’s creamy texture had Anviksha’s lips feeling soft and supple through the day. It’s long-wear formula, on the other hand, ensured that the color required no touch-ups. Anviksha says, “When Kajol told me about the shade she was going to use on me, I was very reluctant at first. I thought that the bright color of my saree would clash with that of the lipstick. However, much to my surprise, they complemented each other extremely well. Another thing that I was delighted about was how light the texture felt on my lips.” Anviksha added, “I was amazed by Kajol’s work and thought that the eye makeup was exceptionally beautiful.”

Anviksha’s Look
When it came to creating Anviksha’s look Kajol R Paswwan allowed her lips to shine the brightest by using softer tones across the rest of her face. She smoothened out Anviksha’s skin with the help of Lakmé Absolute Blur Perfect Primer followed by the Lakmé Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse in Ivory fair for a long-lasting base. She set the product in with the help of the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact and then moved on to the eyes. It was the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette French Rose whose shades were swiped and blended across Anviksha’s eyelids before it was time to focus on giving her a healthy flush of color on her cheeks using the Lakmé Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos in Rose Blush. She rounded off this look by using the Lakmé Absolute Matte Revolution Lip Color in Nutty Chocolate.
