Jinal, JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar
WeddingSutra Favorites cast their magic spell on bride-to-be Jinal as she is transformed into a gorgeous bride ready to walk down the aisle.
WeddingSutra, in collaboration with AZVA and Lakmé Absolute, brings you WeddingSutra on Location – a curated showcase of top bridal trends and style statements from some of our WeddingSutra Favorites.
WeddingSutra’s most popular bridal initiative ‘WeddingSutra On Location’ took place in the invigorating open spaces of the JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. In the first of this three-part series, bride-to-be Jinal realizes her dream bridal look as she prepares for her forthcoming big day.
Whether you’ve hired a battalion of professionals or you’re a DIY kind of girl, every bride deserves to look flawless on her big day. The WSOL is the best of both worlds. Bride-to-be Jinal got the chance to dip into a treasury of AZVA jewellery and Chamee and Palak couture and was then worked on by makeup artist Sejal Sachnakaul of Makeovers by Sejal using products by Lakmé Absolute. As she went about her day, choosing from her glamorous smorgasbord, photographer Kartik Bhagat of Dream Diaries was on hand – catching her at her candid, most charming best.
The day began with Jinal browsing through Chamee and Palak’s offerings and finally settling on a dusty pink lehenga with an embellished blouse and net dupatta. A fan of pastels, the intricate detailing left her in awe and Jinal was thrilled by the apparent versatility of her outfit.
She then looked at the treasure trove of bridal jewellery by AZVA, which, inspired by the seven vows, is designed to evoke the beauty of nature using abstract motifs. Jinal finally chose an exquisite necklace and paired it with earrings, gorgeous bangles and a statement ring. A perfect wedding day look, the set would also add glamor to any big occasion and has a life beyond the locker.
Makeup artist Sejal of Makeovers by Sejal left Jinal utterly impressed with the magic she spun, “She was fabulous! She analysed my skin type and she told me how and what products to use. She gave me a look that suited my skin tone and my hair was styled perfectly!”
WeddingSutra noticed how easily Jinal settled into the shoot and had to ask if she’d ever been shot before. She hadn’t! And the credit went to, “Kartik Bhagat! He was creative and really knew what he was doing. It instantly made me more confident in his ability and put me at ease. He also helped me figure my best poses highlighting my best features.”
Jinal smilingly tells us how she came across WeddingSutra, “I found WeddingSutra on Instagram and after following the account discovered it was an amazing platform to keep myself updated on the latest wedding trends. The content on the website really helped me shortlist designers and other vendors for my own wedding.”
Makeup artist Sejal Sachnakul began by applying the Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Serum Foundation in Rose Silk to give her a radiant glow. Using the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact she set the foundation creating a clean canvas for her to work on. To draw attention to her eyes, she used the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Kajal in Black and added volume to her eyelashes with Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volume Mascara. A light brush of the Lakmé Absolute Sun Kissed Bronzer brought some color to her face and she completed her look with a pout created using Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color in Silky Blush.
