Ria Shah – Krasaa by Vikram Phadnis

In this edition of WeddingSutra On Location, three brides-to-be were invited to the multi-designer store, Krasaa by Vikram Phadnis in Juhu, Mumbai. Under the eagle eyes of our bridal experts, the brides-to-be were given a style consultation and a makeover. We captured the gorgeous results for posterity with a photo-shoot.

Here, in the last of the three-part series, bride-to-be Ria Shah shares her experience with WeddingSutra on Location at Krasaa by Vikram Phadnis.

“As eagerly as I’m anticipating my wedding day, I realise it is going to be stressful. I’ve tried to ask my friends and relatives for advice on outfits, make-up, jewellery but there were so many opinions and it left me perplexed.

WeddingSutra was the platform that helped me understand things better and I was thrilled to be one of the brides for their On Location experience!

I arrived in the morning at Kraasa and was introduced to the entire team. I was asked to choose from the bridal collection. Being fair skinned, I thought a bright red lehenga would suit me best. Then, the MyGlamm team started on make-up and did a fabulous job understanding my skin tone and texture.

I chose exquisitely crafted jewellery by Tara Jewels to accessorise. All dressed up, our wonderful photographer, Dev, captured some amazing shots of me. This was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I am glad WeddingSutra gave me this opportunity.”

Team MyGlamm decided to give Ria an evening look with smokey eyes and a pink pout. Head makeup artist Bijon started with creating a base with Lakmé Absolute White Intense Skin Cover Foundation in Beige Honey on her face and set the base with the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact in Beige Honey. He applied the Lakmé Absolute Drama Stylist Shadow Crayon in Bronze and Grey and blended the same all over her eyelid and lined her eyes with just a thin stroke of the Lakmé Absolute Shine Line in Black. He then added a few coats of the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volumizing Mascara to her lashes. He used the Lakmé Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos in Rose Blush onto her cheeks. Bijon then applied the Red Flames shade of Lakmé Absolute Sculpt Studio Hi-Definition Matte Lipstick on her lips to add a pop of color. Finally her hair from one side was twisted and pinned and later styled with soft curls on one side.
