WeddingSutra held its most popular bridal initiative, WeddingSutra on Location, at the unparalleled location JW Marriot Mumbai Sahar, in the heart of the vibrant suburb of Andheri last month. Starting with a Style Consultation, followed by a Makeover and a Photo Shoot, each of the participants had the opportunity to interact with some of the best names in Bridal & Wedding services.

Here, in the last of the three-part series, bride-to-be Sachi Sheth tells us about her experience with WeddingSutra on Location at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar.

“I’ve been following WeddingSutra for a long time and the site has been invaluable while planning my wedding. I came across WeddingSutra On Location and I thought it was incredibly exciting and of course, I wanted to be a part of it. When Team WeddingSutra called to tell me I’d been chosen for their upcoming event, it was only ten days from my actual wedding. But there was no way I’d have missed the opportunity!

When I reached the location I was greeted by the entire team and they helped me pick a couple of lehengas to try on. The Anushree Reddy lehenga though was just so dreamy. I loved the colour and as soon as I tried it on, the decision was unanimous – we all simply loved it!

After finalizing the outfit, I went into hair and makeup. I was delighted to see Amrita Sanghavi. I’m a big fan of her work. She gave me a soft, subtle look – a superb transformation that complemented my lehenga beautifully.

I accessorized with an exquisite diamond choker and earrings by Gehna Jewellers. I was really stunned by my finished appearance!

Jhalak and Ashwin of Shades Photography put me at absolute ease during the photoshoot that followed. What a fun experience!

And it was great to meet and get to know the other brides and share ideas with them. I’d really like to thank WeddingSutra for this opportunity to make me feel oh so glamourous!”

Sachi’s look
Since we are heading into spring, Makeup artist Amrita Sanghavi decided to keep Sachi’s makeup minimal and fresh. Amrita started with applying the hydrating Lakmé Absolute White Intense Skin Coverage Foundation in Beige Honey for an even base and set it with the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact in Beige Honey. She used the Lakmé Absolute Color Illusion Pearl Shadow in Peach Pearl on her eyelids and applied a thin stroke of the Lakmé Absolute Forever Silk Eyeliner in Black along the lash line for a defined look. She finished with a few coats of the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Dramatic Eyes Mascara. To bring a healthy glow to her face, Amrita used a blush brush to apply the Lakmé Absolute Sun- Kissed Bronzer on the apples of her cheeks. For the lips, she used the Lakmé Absolute Gloss Addict in Very Berry shade. Finally, Sachi’s hair was styled in soft waves and left open.
