In this edition of WeddingSutra On Location, three brides-to-be were invited to the multi-designer store, Krasaa by Vikram Phadnis in Juhu, Mumbai. Under the eagle eye of our bridal experts, the brides-to-be were given a style consultation and a makeover. We captured the gorgeous results for posterity with a photo-shoot.
Here, in the second of the three-part series, bride-to-be Sneha Boobna writes about her experience with WeddingSutra on Location at Krasaa by Vikram Phadnis.
“I was looking at the latest trends in wedding style and came across WeddingSutra. While following them, I discovered ‘WeddingSutra on Location’. The concept intrigued me and I wanted to participate. So I wrote to them and was then informed that I would be part of the WeddingSutra on Location at the Vikram Phadnis store, in Juhu.
Once I reached the store I was warmly greeted by Team WeddingSutra and several experts who had been invited. Because my wedding was only a short while away, the colours of my outfit had already been decided, so we shortlisted a few in other colours. I tried on a few and we all loved a navy blue ensemble with intricate gold embroidery and a green dupatta. It fit like it had been tailored for me!
After getting dressed, I sat down to be made up by the MyGlamm team. The senior artist decided to highlight my eyes with a smoky effect to complement my attire. My lips were bright. And the team gave me a head full of curls to add volume to my hair. I was dolled up!
As I had my make-up done, Team WeddingSutra helped me accessorize: a stunning gold neckpiece, which suited my personal taste, earrings and a matching bangle from Tara Jewellers.
The highlight was the finale! A photoshoot with Dev. I felt like a bride with all the twirling and posing. I especially loved the shots of me looking into the mirror and walking up the stairs. It truly felt like I was getting ready for my D-Day with all the attention and pampering. Thank you WeddingSutra for making it so special.”

Team MyGlamm decided to give Sneha an unconventional bridal look. Head makeup artist Bijon started with creating a base with Lakmé Absolute Face Stylist Foundation in Golden Medium on her face and set it with the Lakmé Absolute Face Stylist Compact in Golden Medium. He applied the Lakmé Absolute Color Illusion Pearl Shadow in Black Pearl all over her eyelid and used the Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate to smudge the corner of her eyes for a light smokey look. He then added a few coats of the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volumizing Mascara to her lashes. He kept her fuller cheeks natural with just a hint of Lakmé Absolute Moonlit Highlighter. Bijon kept Sneha’s lip color muted with the Rose Bloom shade of Lakmé Absolute Sculpt Studio Hi-Definition Matte Lipstick. Finally her hair was styled with soft curls on one side.
