WeddingSutra’s most popular bridal initiative ‘WeddingSutra On Location’ was held at the beautifully designed The Perfect Location, Faridabad where unique themes and gorgeous backdrops elevated the mood of the shoot. In the second of this three-part series, bride-to-be Vakare shares her experience of ‘WeddingSutra on Location.’
Take a peek into Vakare’s bridal makeover experience where she looked resplendent in a stunning orange Abhinav Mishra lehenga teamed with bespoke gold jewellery from Azva and makeup by talented makeup artist Pooja Khurana who used products from the Lakmé Absolute Reinvent Nudes Collection. To freeze the memorable moments of the day, photographer Ramit Batra captured the lovely bride as she got her makeover.
Vakare shares, “The moment I stepped into The Perfect Location, it felt special. I was a bit anxious at first, but everyone made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Since we wanted something breezy and light, I chose a beautiful orange Abhinav Mishra number that went very well with the statement choker and earrings from Azva. I was a bit wary of the overall look at first as I prefer minimalism, but I was pleasantly surprised when I peeked in the mirror and saw how great I looked!”
Her gold bridal necklace set bt Azva was handcrafted to epitomize the seven matrimonial vows. Crafted with traditional motifs in an elegant and contemporary arrangement, the necklace blended perfectly with the outfit. “The jewellery was the best part of the entire makeover,” shared Vakare.
Makeup artist Pooja Khurana understood Vakare’s minimalistic tastes and crafted a gorgeous makeup look using the finest Lakme Absolute products. “Pooja was amazing!” recalled Vakare. “Since my lehenga was heavily embellished, she gave me glittery eyes to match the luster of the ensemble. She applied the base flawlessly, and the look was comfortable and long lasting.”
Elaborating on how she came across WeddingSutra she says, “I found WeddingSutra on Instagram and became a follower. I found it to be an amazing platform to keep myself updated on the latest wedding trends.”
Vakare’s Look
Pooja Khurana started off by applying the Lakmé Absolute Skin Natural Mousse – Hydrating in Ivory Cream from the Lakmé Absolute Reinvent Nudes Collection. Then she set the product in using the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact. Moving on to her eyes, she added a touch of glam with the help of the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette – Nude Beach from the Lakmé Absolute Reinvent Nudes Collection. Using the Lakmé Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos in Pink Blush she brushed on a healthy glow to her cheeks. At last, she used the Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color in Burnt Brown from the Lakmé Absolute Reinvent Nudes Collection to complete this look.
