Yesha Laheri, AZA, Mumbai
Yesha emerged looking regal in royal blue during her 'WeddingSutra on Location' makeover with WeddingSutra Favorites.
In the second of our three-part ‘WeddingSutra on Location’ series, bride-to-be Yesha Laheri shares fun highlights of her memorable bridal makeover experience with WeddingSutra Favorites.
To match the ‘Sangeet Special’ theme of this series, Yesha chose an embellished royal blue Jayanti Reddy lehenga with intricate embroidery on the skirt and blouse from AZA Mumbai. This lehenga was paired with an elegant off-white silk dupatta.
She matched this ornate ensemble with a big, beautiful choker from Azva which added a further regal edge to her look.
Her flawless glowing bridal look with standout glittery eyes was crafted by makeup whiz Vipul Bhagat using the best Lakme Absolute products.
To freeze the moments of the evening, Happyframes, a WeddingSutra Favorite, did a wonderful job clicking the lovely bride as she went through the various stages of her makeover.
Yesha shares, “My sister-in-law was supposed to be a part of the ‘WeddingSutra on Location’ series, but somehow it did not work out. She later connected me to the team, and to be honest, I feel really glad and lucky to be chosen to participate in such a wonderful experience.”
When it came to zeroing in on one lehenga from the designer collections at AZAMumbai, Yesha explains, “The moment I stepped into AZA, it felt special. They have a wide variety of lehengas for each wedding function. Since we wanted something breezy and light, I chose a royal blue Jayanti Reddy number that went very well with the statement choker and earrings from Azva. I was a bit wary of the overall look at first as I prefer minimalism, but I was pleasantly surprised when I peeked in the mirror and saw how great I looked!”
Makeup Artist Vipul Bhagat understood Yesha’s minimalistic tastes and crafted a glittery gold eye makeup look using the finest Lakme Absolute products. “Vipul was fantastic,” shares Yesha. “Since my lehenga was heavily embellished, he gave me glittery eyes to match the lustre of the ensemble. He applied the base flawlessly and the look was comfortable and long lasting.”
Photographer Deepanshi Kapoor of Happyframes was always around Yesha, capturing the wonderful candid moments of the whole process. Yesha found her fun to work with. “It was a joy working with Deepanshi and everything went off very smoothly. I want to thank WeddingSutra for such a brilliant experience and for helping me with top-notch wedding-related resources and services.”
Makeup artist Vipul Bhagat focussed on creating a gold glitter eye look that went well with the ‘Sangeet Special’ theme. He started by applying a thin layer of the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation along with the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact to create a flawless and even base for the makeup.Vipul then added a touch of color to her cheeks with the Lakme Absolute Face Stylish Blush Duos in Rose. Since the focus of the look was Yesha’s eyes, Vipul added glittery Lakme Absolute Illuminating Eye shadow in Gold skillfully. To accentuate the shimmery eyes, he applied generous coats of Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volume Mascara along with the Lakme Absolute Precision Eye Artist Kajal in Black. He finished Yesha’s overall glamorous look with a touch of the Lakme Absolute Lip Pout Matte Masaba Lips in Sugar N Spice.
