Football player Mesut Ozil married Amine Gulse, an actress and former Miss Turkey in Turkey, at a breathtaking venue on the banks of river Bosphorus.
Amine and Mesut who have been engaged for a year got married at Istanbul’s Four Seasons Hotel which is situated on the banks of the Bosphorus. The festivities began with a traditional henna ceremony held a day before the wedding. Amine looked divine in a red gown and an ornate crown as the couple’s loved ones gathered to congratulate Mesut and Amine and share their joy.
For one of the pre-wedding functions, the bride wore an off-shoulder white gown with a long trail and embellished headgear, and also held a white bridal bouquet while the groom opted for a bluish-grey checkered suit. Some videos also show a red ribbon tied around the bride’s waist as the couple dance together surrounded by their loved ones playing drums and other musical instruments.
For the wedding ceremony, Amine donned a shimmery and embellished white gown and crown, while Mesut looked dapper in a sleek tuxedo. Every detail of the decor was classy, and the natural beauty of the Bosphorus river provided the perfect setting for this special occasion.
The celeb couple’s wedding also received a lot of attention as the controversial Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine stood as witnesses to the wedding.
Everything about the opulent wedding looked dreamy and the crowd couldn’t help but cheer on as the couple took the floor for their first dance. The bride even surprised her groom and the guests by singing a song at the reception!
The couple’s five-tiered wedding cake looked just as spectacular as the rest of the wedding decor.
The celebrations didn’t stop there. The couple and their guests headed for a lively after-party after the reception!
