After the news of their engagement was released in December of 2021 in congratulatory posts by near and dear ones, including a heart-warming one by erstwhile actress and mother Tina Ambani, Jai Anmol Ambani tied the knot with Khrisha Shah at Sea Wind, the Ambani residence in Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. The festivities included a mehndi function on the 18th, Haldi on the 19th, Wedding High-tea and Dinner on the 20th, followed by Cocktails and Dinner on the 21st.
Pictures and stories by Khrisha’s sister Nriti as well as other close relatives and friends such as Antara Motiwala, politician Supriya Sule, and others shared glimpses of the happy couple dancing and enjoying with their loved ones at their pre-wedding festivities at the bride’s family mansion in Khandala. The bride slipped into a chic figure-hugging printed dress for the casual sundowner cocktail.

Khrisha donned a rich purple and blue lehenga with heavy embroidery and embellishments for her vibrant marigold-laden mehndi function on the 18th as seen in pictures shared by her sister. The highlight however was her unique choice of mehndi design, as she got a portrait of Shiv-Parvati on one arm, and guru mantra on the other.

The haldi and choora ceremonies for Khrisha were cosy home held functions on the 19th with traditional decor of marigolds. The bride looked radiant in simple pastel monochrome co-ords for the two functions surrounded by her near and dear ones.
The minimalist ethos of the haldi and choora ceremonies puts a charming spin on the tradition.
The wedding decor saw a sumptuous blend of tradition and grandeur in elegant hues of cream, gold and pink. A magnificent statue of Lord Ganesha and a gilded Krishna jhula among others added splendor to the occasion, while other traditional elements combined with fresh flowers and foliage to set a grand yet serene ambience for the Gujarati nuptials. Khrisha was resplendent in a rich red lehenga by Anamika Khanna, while Anmol donned an elegant ivory sherwani for the occasion.

The wedding ceremony was followed by a grand reception with whimsical decor of white and green spanning the lawns and ballroom of Sea Wind. The sumptuous dinner included cuisines from around the world including Japanese, Lebanese, Korean and Spanish favorites. Unique culinary offerings such as elaborate cheese boards, a mushroom bar, and pizza counters along with Gujarati Mains were relished by the guests, prepared exclusively for the occasion by a Michelin star chef who was flown in by Foodlink Catering from Spain.
Architectural gazebos in ivory flanked the verdant Reception party.

Toshin Chocolatier Patissier created the 3-tier ombre pink wedding cake with yellow sculptural accents.

The eldest son of Anil and Tina Ambani, Jai Anmol has a degree from UK’s Warwick Business School and is known for being hardworking and staying away from the spotlight.
Anmol and Khrisha studied together at South Mumbai’s most prestigious Cathedral and John Connon School. Her late father Nickunj Shah, a resident of Marine Drive, used to run a well-known biz house named Nickunj Group while her mother Neelam Shah is a fashion designer. Khrisha is the founder of the social networking firm Dysco. She is also a compassionate social worker known for her Pandemic related mental health campaign #Lovenotfear, and has studied at the London School of Economics and the University of California.
