IPL star and Indian leg spinner Rahul Chahar tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Ishani Johar, a fashion designer, at a stunning destination wedding that was hosted on the foamy shores of Goa. The news of their wedding resulted in an outpouring of wishes even as the 22-year-old cricketer shared pictures of their wedding online. Engaged since the year 2019, the duo kept their celebrations low-key and intimate as they began a new chapter in their lives surrounded by their closest friends and family.

A boisterous Haldi celebration heralded the wedding where the couple got a true desi style glow-up amidst tons of laughter and joy. Hosted under the sunlit sky and decorated with marigolds, the Haldi was in tandem with tradition. The couple had a gala time as they ambled under the bright Goan sunshine.
For their sundowner Wedding by the shore, the couple took a step away from the usual ceremonial hues and instead chose a beautiful turquoise shade that further accentuated the natural beauty around them. With a minimalistic floral mandap being the highlight of the wedding, the couple looked straight out of a fairytale during the phera ceremony. Ishani was the showstopper in her turquoise lehenga with gota patti work, while Rahul on the other hand, donned an ivory embroidered sherwani with an elegant stole that matched Ishani’s lehenga.
