Kit Harington and Rose Leslie’s long-awaited wedding turned out to be a Game of Thrones reunion in Scotland.
Game of Thrones co-stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at Kirkton of Rayne church in Scotland. The actors first became close while on set in Iceland shooting for the season 2 of the popular show. They fell in love and got engaged in September 2017, confirming the happy news.
While walking down the aisle with her father, the beautiful bride looked radiant in a delicate long-sleeve lacy vintage-style dress by Elie Saab. She secured her gorgeous veil with a delicate flower crown topping her signature red strands. Leslie also carried a small bouquet of flowers. The groom looked dapper for the occasion wearing a black jacket, a cream colored vest and a pair of striped pants.
The star-studded celebration included many Game of Thrones stars as well as a whole host of other celebrities. The couple invited over 200 guests and the extra special invitations featured postage stamps with Harington’s character in Game of Thrones, Jon Snow, on them. After the ceremony, the wedding party moved to Wardhill Castle, the estate owned by Leslie’s family – for the reception.
Co-stars Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, and Peter Dinklage were all seen arriving at the church. While Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams coordinated their looks, Emilia Clarke was seen in a gorgeous pink coat with a floral dress, and matching shoes.
