Raghu Ram and Natalie Di Luccio, H2O Agonda, Goa
The endless expanse of the Arabian sea formed the backdrop for popular MTV host Raghu Ram's traditional wedding to Natalie in Goa.
He is known for terrifying contestants in the long-running MTV show ‘Roadies’ – but it was a different Raghu Ram on show at his wedding in Goa. Dressed in a stylish ethnic ensemble, Raghu wed Natalie in a traditional ceremony and the couple soaked in the Goan vibe as they celebrated with friends and family after the rituals. The groom took to Instagram to announce the news to the world with a picture clicked by WeddingSutra Favorite – Picsurely, which he captioned “Love and Laughter. ❤”.
The couple reportedly met only a year ago. After a few months, Natalie shared a picture of Raghu going down on one knee to propose to her in South Africa. The duo got engaged in August in a ceremony that took place in Toronto before hosting their nuptials in India.
Their wedding celebration started with a mehndi function at H2O Agonda, where the bride was seen wearing a gorgeous threadwork lehenga from Yeh Lehenga Nahi Mehenga. While the skirt showcased heavy multicolored embroidery, the blouse had a gold fringe trim. To complete the look she wore floral jewellery which was from Adirag. The groom was spotted soaking in the Goan vibe in a pastel pink shorts and a matching jacket.
The sangeet was an outdoor function which took place at Wild at Palolem and was filled with energetic performances by the couple and their family and friends. Raghu and Natalie color coordinated their looks by opting for matching steel grey outfits. The bride was resplendent in a lehenga by Kalki that featured exquisite golden embroidery. Natalie’s jewellery included chandeliers earrings, a bracelet, and an upper arm band. Raghu wore a brocade bandhgala with Patiala trousers.
Their daytime wedding was filled with positivity and cheer. Raghu wore a white kurta with a red dhoti and an ‘angavastram’ (traditional stole). Natalie was a traditional Indian bride in a white silk saree with a red and golden border. She paired it with gorgeous gold jewellery, and adorned her braided hair with flowers.
The next function in the line-up of their events was the white wedding, which too, took place at sunset, against the backdrop of the sea and the waves. The decor exuded a rustic chic vibe and made use of white drapes and the prettiest floral arrangements in the same colour. While the bride looked breathtaking in a white gown that was paired with a floor-length veil, the groom went with a pastel blue suit. The ceremony was followed by the reception where abundant fairy lights brought in a sense of magic to the venue.
