From falling in love on the sets of their first film together to tying the knot and walking down the aisle hand in hand, South’s biggest stars – Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya’s three days of celebrations at W Hotel in Goa was an ode to their journey of love.
They tied the knot in a traditional Hindu ceremony and their Christian wedding took place the next evening. For the wedding, Samantha wore Naga Chaitanya’s grandmother’s sari and teamed it up with pretty Sabyasachi blouse and gold temple jewellery, including a waistband and armbands from NAC Jewellery. Naga Chaitanya opted for a white kurta pyjama.
The couple held a mehndi ceremony ahead of the Hindu wedding where Samantha dazzled in a powder blue lehenga by Kresha Bajaj with pink and blue floral embroidery and platinum jewellery while the groom was elegant in a pale pastel kurta pajama.
The beautiful Christian wedding in the church was an intimate love-filled affair – Naga Chaitanya entering with his mother Lakshmi Daggubati, Samantha Ruth Prabhu standing at the altar next to her husband to exchange vows, and the ring ceremony – everything was picture perfect. Samantha wore a light purple gown, designed by Kresha Bajaj and accentuated her look with a diamond necklace and matching earrings while Naga Chaitanya complemented his bride in a black tuxedo.
Members of the Daggubati family were present at the wedding and many celebrity guests included actors Rahul Ravindran, Vennela Kishore, Sushanth and Adivi Sesh.
