Cricketer Shreyas Gopal’s wedding to his longtime girlfriend Nikitha Shiv on November 24th, 2021 received much love and congratulations from his team Rajasthan Royals and the Cricket Fraternity. The IPL all-rounder and his new bride took to Instagram to share moments from the intimate celebrations shot by WeddingSutra Favorite – Epiphany by Sajal, which highlighted a total of 8 functions with their friends and family in Bangalore that was impeccably planned and executed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Zzeeh Weddings.
The celebrations were largely hosted at the iconic Bangalore venues of Chamara Vajra and Royalton Leisure. The decor and planning for the functions were done by Zzeeh Weddings, whose founder Zubair Abdul Waheed shares, “It was an absolute pleasure working with the couple during the planning process. Nikitha had a very clear idea of what she wanted the wedding to be like, where she wanted to host it and the choice of decor that she had in mind, which made designing and executing the wedding a breeze. It was one of our most memorable weddings”. Every raw emotion and candid moment of joy in all the functions were captured in vivid details by a talented team of photographers from Epiphany by Sajal.
The pictures depicted warm home-based rituals from their Haldi and Mehndi, rousing celebrations from their Cocktail and Sangeet as well as several ceremonies including the nuptials that exuded a very traditional vibe. As per the bride’s vision, the Engagement party was a minimalistic soiree in pastels while the wedding was a tranquil, traditional affair with marigolds and a beautiful gazebo mandap. A glamorous Reception with dazzling chandeliers and sparkling lights amidst tons of flowers all around concluded the festivities.
For the big day, Shreyas donned an all ivory ensemble, while Nikitha looked mesmerizing in a traditional off-white and pink silk saree which she teamed with a rich fuchsia dupatta and gold temple jewelry. The groom shared his joy on Instagram with an emotional post captioned ‘24.11.2021’. The couple were showered with love and blessings on social media by Rajasthan Royals as well as many of Shreyas’ teammates and friends.
Shreyas, who has made his mark in this beloved sport recently appeared in IPL 2021. Bangalore-based Nikitha is a Brand and Marketing Manager for Aditya Birla Group’s Louis Philippe, as well as the Founder and CEO of The Mana Network and BAR Episodes. The couple has been dating for over two years and had announced their engagement earlier this year.
