Unmukt Chand and Simran Khosla

Former Indian skipper Unmukt Chand who’s known for winning the under 19 Cricket World Cup for India tied the knot with his beau Simran Khosla, a nutritionist on the 21st of November. Hosted in Delhi at the bride’s home, the festivities consisted of a mehndi, bridal shower, haldi, and a dreamy traditional Indian wedding. While the beginning of their love story remains a mystery, the couple has been dating for the past three years.

The pre-wedding festivities began with a cozy open-air mehndi ceremony where the bride looked stunning in a pink and gold printed dress. Dominated by colorful flowers and lush foliage the decor was simple and blended in perfectly with the sunny day. Leaving her straight hair open and accessorizing her look with a quirky shell necklace, the bride looked comfy as she got henna patterned on her palms.

Next in line was the bridal shower where Simran had a blast as she danced to her favorite tracks surrounded by her friends. However, the highlight of the evening was the bride’s graceful solo performance. Looking like a million bucks in her cobalt blue fringed dress and nude stilettos Simran exuded glamor with every move.

A day before the wedding, Simran hosted a bridal haldi ceremony. Keeping it comfy in a flowy yellow floral dress, the bride radiated happiness as her loved ones blessed her and slathered her with haldi. With her hair styled in a braided half-up updo, Simran accessorized her look with a floral necklace with a matching bracelet and earrings. Later on, the bride and her friends were witnessed having a fun time as Simran jangled her kaleerein on the bridesmaids’ heads!

For the big day, no stone was left unturned as Simran chose a delicate dusty pink lehenga! Embroidered with silver embellishments and light pink florals with sheer sleeves Simran looked straight out of a fairytale with her subtle smokey eye look and nude pout. Accessorizing her look was a stunning diamond necklace, earrings, statement nath, and a maang tikka. Adorning her wrists was a set of traditional bridal chooda along with gold kaleerein. Unmukt, on the other hand, complemented his bride by looking dapper in a pink floral bandhgala layered over an ivory kurta set. Adding a dash of royalty to his outfit was a layered pearl necklace.
