Amrita Puri

‘Aisha’ actor Amrita Puri tied the knot with Imrum Sethi in a very intimate destination wedding in Bangkok.

Married to: Imrum Sethi

On: November 11, 2017

The dimpled beauty, Amrita Puri, who we fell in love with onscreen in some of her acclaimed roles, married her long-time boyfriend, Mumbai-based restaurateur, Imrun Sethi. Photos from the wedding in Bangkok have us totally impressed!

Snapshots of the traditional Sikh rituals, the jaimala and other moments have even found their way on to the internet and they are a fashionista’s dream.

The bride, dressed in a signature layered lehenga with an embellished cami-blouse by Ritika Mirchandani looked stunning at her Mehndi lunch. Amrita picked an ivory concept saree for her sangeet – the skirt of which was ruffled with a sash-pallu and a belt to cinch the waist. Amrita had an all-white wedding and wore an ornate, off-white and gold Sabyasachi with bridal kundan jewellery complete with kaleere and chooda. The groom chose an off-white sherwani. The pale palette was infused with floral pinks and as she walked under the gorgeous roses to meet her groom, she looked like a dream. Titled ‘Eat Drink Love’, the event looked sophisticated and romantic and gave wedding goals to several brides-to-be out there.

For the Jaimala in the evening, Amrita decked herself in green and accessorized with traditional jewellery with gold mattha patti and a gold necklace. The groom chose a white one-sided kurta for the do.
