The $100,000 dress that will spark a wave of copycat brides was designed by Giorgio Armani with some help from Danielle. Three layers of fabric sourced from France, Italy and Spain were used in the stunning gown split thigh-high- a silk georgette embroidered with Valencia lace, silk-satin lining and an underlay of soft silk georgette. It was hand beaded with 10,000 clear Swarovski crystals and sequins. The lace front is knotted at the bust, as Armani was quite impressed with Spencer’s decollatage. The back scoops low, to the very base of her spine with a star of delicate straps to hold the dress in place. It finishes at the back with a slight fish tale while at the front, a split shows off Spencer’s slender legs. An organza veil and strappy bejewelled sandals completed the outfit. She carried a classic teardrop bouquet of white and cream roses, sprigged with Singapore orchids and maiden hair fern. Danielle’s hair was very textured, with strands loosely intertwined, then knotted at the nape of the neck. Swarovski crystals were threaded throughout and the style was held in place with transparent pins.
