The actress wowed with her effortless grace and grandiose ensembles.
Hansika Motwani, a child actor turned Tamil and Telugu movie star who shot to fame for her role in the show Shaka Laka Boom Boom and Hrithik Roshan starrer Koi… Mil Gaya, tied the knot with her beau Sohael Khaturiya, a Mumbai-based businessman. Long-term friends, the couple had shared the news of their engagement on November 2nd after a dreamy proposal in Paris. While their intimate wedding with just family and friends in Jaipur’s Mundota Fort and Palace saw magical festivities, it was Hansika’s stunning bridal avatars that took the cake, as seen in these stunning shots by WeddingSutra Favorite – Cupcake Productions.
The festivities kicked off with a Mata ki Chowki held at home in Mumbai, for which Hansika looked every bit the modern bride in a riveting red mirror-work saree by Abhinav Mishra. Elegant polki jewels, soft flowing locks, and a radiant visage completed her look for the intimate occasion.
The intimate rituals in Mumbai were followed by other wedding festivities at the venue including a Sufi Night, for which Hansika exuded Mughal grandeur in an ivory and gold sharara set, a classic mirror-work ensemble by ace-designer Abhinav Mishra. A beautiful resham dupatta on her head along with a traditional passa, uncut gems, and smokey eyes added completed her alluring aura.
For her haldi, Hansika matched the beautiful, vibrant decor of sunflowers with a dainty white sharara set that featured yellow flowers. A soft, youthful visage and floral jewellery in hues matching her outfit complemented her bridal glow.
For her wedding, Hansika opted for a stunning red lehenga from the couture line of Rimple and Harpreet Narula, which featured a handcrafted skirt with resham zardozi, Kashmiri tilla, dabka, nagshi, sequins, and pearls. She teamed her lehenga with an exquisite red blouse with intricate embellishments and threadwork, as well as two dupattas for that undeniably royal look. Nude makeup and bold smokey eyes perfectly accentuated her angelic features and striking grey eyes, while ornate polki jewels and massive gold kaleerein added that wow factor.
The wedding festivities were followed by a day at the races, for which Hansika embodied Vogue-ish chic in a dramatic feathered gown by Atelier Zuhra. Featuring an exquisite pearl bodice, the couture piece shimmered in the sun. She kept her jewelry minimal to let her outfit shine, opting only for a statement necklace and bold sunglasses by Christian Dior.
