If a summer wedding is on your mind, Kanika Kapoor’s wedding style is a must add to your dreamy pastels mood board! The singer who is best known for her hit song ‘Baby Doll’, opted for a delicate palette of soft greens and blush pinks to match the whimsical floral decor and vibe of her wedding to businessman beau Gautam Hathiramani in London. From her modish couture and jewelry to her fresh-faced rosy makeup and soft flowing locks, we are in love with all of her looks!
For her dainty floral-themed Mehndi, Kanika put a modern twist on tradition with an elegant pistachio-hued lehenga. The contemporary piece featured a feminine cap-sleeved blouse with intricate lace details, sequined embroidery and a scalloped hem, teamed with a stunning chikankari-work skirt and dupatta which was perfectly complemented with statement gemstone jewelry. Soft flowing tresses, bold smokey eyes, dewy cheeks and pale pink lips softly accentuated her ensemble just right.
Kanika was the very definition of a ‘blushing bride’ in an exquisite Manish Malhotra lehenga for her whimsical garden-themed Wedding. She complimented the rich embroidery of her bridal couture with muted yet glowing makeup, extending the romantic petal-pink hue of the attire to her cheeks and lips too! Her delicate take on a classic bun adorned with flowers and face-framing tendrils effortlessly offset her ornate jewelry without overwhelming her look, allowing her natural beauty to shine.
The singer’s grand Reception at the iconic Victoria and Albert Museum saw a night of decadent festivities for which she sported two riveting couture lehengas. Her first look featured a shimmering silver mermaid-cut lehenga with a floor-length jacket that sported hundreds of glistening crystals, which she donned for the Reception video. She later swapped it for a ravishing red lehenga with intricate tonal embellishments, a tasseled blouse and statement emerald and diamond jewelry. A minimalistic approach to makeup and hair was the perfect choice to highlight the stunning outfit.
