The 38 year old actor famous for her iconic portrayal of ‘Jassi’ in ‘Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahi’ was a picture of joy and radiance as she tied the knot with her long term boyfriend and investment banker Shyam Gopalan. The traditional Punjabi ceremony was held in an intimate setting in Mumbai on Friday, 27th December with a gathering of just family and close friends.

The wedding function was preceded by a rocking Sangeet ceremony, a Mehndi ceremony and a fun bachelorette in Goa. Mona was seen having a jolly good time at her Mehndi in vibrant pink kurti with her old friend and colleague Gaurav Gera in the sweet pictures.

The wedding was attended by several TV professionals such as Gaurav Gera, Aashish Kapoor, Rajesh Khera and Rakshanda Khan, some of who shared adorable moments of the celebrations on their social media profiles. The actress was all smiles as she shook a leg with her guests in a stunning all-embroidered red lehenga embellished with bugle beads from Kalki Fashion, teamed with jewellery made from diamonds and green pearls along with a maang tikka. The groom donned a gold sherwani with a pink safa as they both exchanged garlands of red and white blooms.
