The lead actress of the popular Netflix series ‘Never Have I Ever’, Richa Shukla recently tied the knot with her long time beau Rishi Moorjani whom she met on a dating app specifically designed for South Asian singles in America.

Rishi, a finance professional, and Richa started their love story thanks to Richa’s friend who took charge and insisted on creating her profile on the dating app where they both promptly approved Rishi’s profile.

After numerous texts and hours of conversation, Richa and Rishi decided to meet up and quickly realized the potential of their relationship. A quick meeting between their families followed, and after a unique proposal by Rishi, the duo decided to take the plunge. Held at the picturesque coastal resort, Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort in Mexico, their nuptials were an intimate affair that was high on tradition and taste.

Engagement
For the engagement, Richa kept her look minimalistic and modern by picking clean-cut outfits that accentuated her slender frame. However, she went bold with the colors that would pop against the somber backdrop. For her first look, she opted for a pair of bright magenta co-ords with a deep side slit that flaunted her long legs. The jewelry was kept extremely simple with a thin necklace, and her beautiful engagement ring that stood out against her bright outfit.

Keeping it chic yet casual by the beach, her second outfit was a flowy merlot gown with a deep neck, which she paired with a messy hairdo.

Haldi
The haldi was an all-yellow affair where the bride glowed in a sunny lehenga. Keeping the sun in mind and with the intention of having plenty of fun, Richa opted for a simple skirt and a sheer matching dupatta with a gold border. White floral jewelry adorned her forehead, wrists, and ears.

Sangeet
Going full glam for the sangeet, Richa donned a bright purple Banarasi lehenga with gold zari work all over the skirt. A dancer since childhood, she exuded immense grace as she twirled around the dancefloor in this traditional look. With a light gold and nude makeup look paired with a half-up hairdo, Richa looked radiant and ravishing.

Wedding
Expressing her traditional yet minimalistic style, Richa’s ruby red wedding lehenga had the perfect amount of bling that did not overwhelm the eyes. With an intricately embroidered top paired with a relatively simple dupatta and skirt, the bride looked picture perfect as she walked gracefully down the aisle surrounded by golden sands and lush foliage. For her jewellery, she chose a classic creation featuring an emerald and gold combination that contrasted beautifully with her red lehenga.

A beachside affair, the wedding ceremony featured simple floral decor, and Rishi made a dramatic entry in a white vintage car.

Reception
Making most of the scenic Mexican shoreline, the couple chose to host their reception by the beach too. Held under the dark night sky with the salty breeze blowing through their hair, Richa and Rishi, began their ‘Happily Ever After’ journey on the dancefloor where they waltzed to their heart’s content.

Showing off her contemporary side while reflecting her roots, Richa slipped into an extravagant peach and white creation with a ruffled skirt and silver embroidered top. To match the color palette of her outfit, she sported a diamond hairpin and earrings, while keeping her makeup neutral with a nude glossy pout.
