In 2003, the sweethearts stole TV viewers’ hearts on The Bachelorette, the hit reality show. As the bachelorette, Trista, a pediatric physical therapist, chose poetry-writing firefighter Ryan as her soul mate. The two were engaged and happily married within a year.
