After teasing us with public appearances around the world, they finally put a ring on it. As shared by the lover boy, here’s how the proposal went, “I got down on one knee, again, and I said: Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me? No joke – she took about 45 seconds. Forty-five seconds of silence,” and after the pregnant pause, he told Priyanka, “‘I’m going to put this ring on your finger now unless you have any objections!”
As the Jonas family landed at Mumbai’s international airport, shutterbugs went crazy looking at the Tiffany and Co. bag in Papa Jonas’ luggage. And all those speculations were put to rest in the best possible way with Priyanka’s post, “Taken… with all my heart and soul…“
While this post had all Bollywood fans going gaga over it, the couple’s international followers had a similar response to Nick, who captioned the image, “Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love”.
While two stars getting together can have anyone starstruck, the breathtaking ring was also something that captured our attention. According to sources, Nick shut down a Tiffany & Co.store to select the high-quality cushion cut beauty for the actress. And ladies, he chose the perfect ring, didn’t he? Weighing around 4 carats, the platinum masterpiece with small baguette diamonds on the sides, cost the singer a whopping $200,000! As for the dreamy proposal, he whisked her off to Crete for her birthday and waited until midnight to pop the question.
Soon after, a roka ceremony was held at Priyanka’s abode in Juhu which included a stunning backdrop with flowers and their logo. The Jonas family rocked the Indian attire and our Bollywood princess looked ethereal in a yellow outfit by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
Several other pictures surfaced from the ceremony showing how well the two families bonded across cultures for the celebration of true love. Priyanka also shared a carousel of the roka captioned, “The only way to do this… with Family and God. Thank you all for your wishes and blessings.”
Later in the evening, a celebration of family and close friends unfolded with the likes of Alia Bhatt, the Ambanis, Arpita Khan Sharma, Vishal Bharadwaj and Parineeti Chopra gathered to congratulate the couple on their new beginnings.
