1. Anse Source d’Argent – La Digue Island
2. Anse Lazio – Praslin Island
3. Anse Cocos – La Digue Island
4. Anse Georgette – Praslin Island
5. Grand Anse – La Digue Island

1. Anse Source d’Argent – La Digue Island

With its soft sandy beaches and hard boulders as the backdrop, the Anse Source d’Argent on La Digue islands is said to be one of the most photographed beaches in the world. Your friends back home will end up double-tapping every picture you take of this sunny cocoon as you are bound to get perfect views from any angle. Since this beach is sheltered by the reef, you are protected from fierce or unpredictable waves, and all you have is the tranquil sea to swim in or relax next to with your partner.

2. Anse Lazio – Praslin Island

The Anse Lazio beach had the honor of being voted the ‘Sixth Best Beach in the World’ by users of TripAdvisor. Situated in the northwest region of Praslin Island, it is also one of the more popular beaches in Seychelles. With majestic mountains on both sides of the beach and a shallow bay, Anse Lazio also has an interesting history involving brave pirates who roamed the Indian Ocean. Head there to find out more for yourselves. You can also enjoy a romantic meal at the Bon Bon Plume restaurant which is perfect to relish a meal with your feet in the sand.

3. Anse Cocos – La Digue Island

The Anse Cocos beach offers somewhat the same natural vistas of the Anse Source d’Argent and Anse Lazio beaches when it comes to natural vistas. However, this beach scores higher when it comes to privacy as it is more secluded than the others. You and your partner will have to walk through a jungle for around 25 minutes to access this beach. The rocky boulders in the ocean and sunlight make for some compelling photos, and you can celebrate your arrival at this private paradise with a ‘beach-fie.’

4. Anse Georgette – Praslin Island

Expect some serious Instagram photo ops here! Anse Georgette is private and pristine and lies in the grounds of the Constance Lemuria resort. There are no rocky boulders or mountains here – all you get is an unbroken view of the endless ocean. Guests of the Constance Lemuria resort have easy access to this beach via golf carts. However, if you are staying elsewhere and plan on visiting Anse Georgette, you will have to call the resort to book your visit as they limit the numbers of tourists there to preserve the pristine, unspoiled nature of this beach. Also, watch out for strong waves here before you strike an Instagram-worthy pose in the waters.

5. Grand Anse – La Digue Island

Unlike the calm waters of the Anse Source d’Argent, the ocean waves at the Grand Anse beach can be quite strong. You can bicycle to this beach if you and your partner are in the mood for it. It’s a gorgeous place to sunbathe but be careful of the undercurrents if you venture deeper into the water. The rocky granite environs here are scenic for those dramatic photos.
