About Hocus Focus Captures:

What started off as a conversation over coffee, took the form of Hocus Focus Captures, a collaborative endeavor with an aim to click priceless moments that induce a surge of emotions. Founded in 2013, Jijesh Nair, Ashwin Venugopal and Dipen Bhavsar the company takes couples to some of the most poignant points of their wedding festivities through a series of artfully captured candids and portraits.

Ashwin Venugopal of Hocus Focus Captures shares, “The foundations of Hocus Focus Captures was laid over many coffee breaks, night outs and brainstorming sessions where we essentially outlined our brand’s vision and philosophy.”

While the self-taught trio ventured into the field with a modest knowledge in computer graphics lighting, they honed their skills by practicing their craft relentlessly. “Photography came to us naturally. We had grown up watching cartoons and were so enamored by those characters that we trained in animation. When we made the switch some of the fundamentals that we learned came in handy and our intuitiveness with the camera led our way forward,” he adds.

Driven by a deep passion for innovation, they never fail to create magic every time they stand behind the lens and start by ensuring that their clients are at absolute ease when the camera faces them. Ashwin concludes by saying, “There is nothing that we enjoy more than preserving fleeting moments in order to turn them into timeless treasures for our clients.”
