When you tie the knot at one of the most beautiful places for destination weddings, you know the wedding is going to be seriously pretty. Colorblind Productions joined Ananya and Anish for their elegant and love-filled wedding affair at Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa, Oman. The stunning landscape of Oman’s Al Hajar mountains, the beautiful ocean and the interesting architecture of the resort all provide a dramatic backdrop to the montage of personal emotions and unfathomable happiness captured with tenderness by the film team. Ananya, an accomplished jewellery designer is a vision in pink against the pink-hued decor of the wedding mandap. The film gracefully captured the wedding details by Vandana Mohan (The Wedding Design Company) with shots of elegant tables decorated with tall floral centerpieces and an eclectic mix of mercury glass votives. But this wedding wasn’t just about happy tears; it was also about having a whole lot of fun! Ananya and Anish’s dance floor was packed with guests who danced through the night. Soulful dervishes twirling at sangeet organized on a secluded beach at the edge of the mountains make for surreal footage. Long after watching this montage of picturesque Oman, glamorous setup and personal and moving speeches, we are still feeling the love of these two wonderful people.
