Every wedding brims over with the universal and the unique. There is love and laughter, teasing and tears, food and drink with dance. Somewhere in between all of these, are the little moments that define the family, the couple andindividual.
At Bheeshma and Ritika’s tropical wedding at the Westin Langkawi, Malaysia, the stunning vistas of clear skies and golden beaches, the serenity of the location and the depth of their love brought an understated elegance that was uniquely them.
The film begins by highlighting the idyll that is Langkawi. The crystalline waters that lap the shore fringing the Westin, make way for the welcome arranged for the guests and evolve into montages that exude the warm hospitality of Malaysia.
The following sequences flawlessly present the way friends and family celebrated the couple. Dancing in high spirits, the young and old showed off some crazy moves! Fading out from the spirited montages and soundtrack, the film then cuts to the wedding ceremony, a mesmerizing tune playing in the background. While the couple shares their vows under a breathtaking mandap, the excitement, eagerness and a hint of nervousness in the air are clearly evoked via the visuals.
The film ends by zooming out to a large beach as the couple share a candid moment and doesn’t that portray just how we find love in this limitless world?
