Emotions, expressions, and innocence – all of these were captured in their purest forms in Rekha and Krishna’s wedding film titled, ‘A Decade Of Love.’
Shot at the InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram Resort, and the Trident Hotel Chennai, by WeddingSutra Favorite – Magic Motion Media, begins with a visual of a beautiful sunrise before zooming in on the groom having an adorable debate on whether to wear his outfit before or after his ‘shagun ki mehndi.’
The action then moves to Rekha helping Krishna dry his henna faster by blowing on his palms. That adorable moment is followed by many others, including charming tiffs between the couple before their photoshoot.
The candid sound bytes and spontaneous grooving by loved ones are some of the engaging highlights of the film. The Magic Motion Media team deftly created a mesmerizing montage of twirling shots, photobombing pictures, and the couple walking hand-in-hand, stealing a kiss and posing like Bharatnatyam dancers near ancient murals.
The groom then gives a sound byte to the camera describing how he fell in love with Rekha at first sight while his friends take turns and pull his leg at being a 30-year-old man who sits in his boxers while watching ‘Bigg Boss’ on the TV screen and a football match on his laptop, while the other friend jokingly calls him a miser and recollects memories of him ditching them on occasions wherever he was expected to pay an entry fee.
The camera then pans on to show their wedding rituals beautifully. Rekha’s dreamy bridal entry under a floral canopy and the look on the groom’s face when he sees his bride for the first time is priceless. In the end, the team captures terrific shots of the pheras, and of the couple stealing glances in between the rituals. Finally, the film ends on a romantic note with a zoomed-in shot of the married couple walking hand-in-hand.
