The film first welcomes you to Bali. As Selva and Sneha make their way out of the airport, you’re treated to snapshots of Balinese dancers, blue waves surging to the beach, a panorama of the gorgeous Hilton, Bali and a teaser of the moments to come even as bags that say ‘I Love Bali’ are placed in every guest room.
We are introduced to Sneha purely through visuals. Here she is, in her finery, shy, pretty and a bride-to-be. Selva’s swag is palpable as he struts in, his crew behind him. The mehndi on board the Sea Safari Cruise looks vibrant and multicultural. A 10-minute specially orchestrated show of LED water drummers, Agni Puja fire dancers and Dancing Pyro welcoming the couple on stage. There’s a flash of flamenco. The grooving of a DJ. And a whole lot of partying in between.
The baraat is something else. An open convertible ferries the groom to his bride as a convoy of vintage Volkswagon vans follows. We then witness the mesmerizing cliff of the Kuta Golf Club that hosted the magical wedding ceremony ‘Thirumanam’. The breathtaking cloud formations and ravishing views of the Indian Ocean set a marvelous backdrop for this fairytale wedding.
