Shivam and Divya, Leonia Holistic Destination, Hyderabad

Divya and Shivam's wedding film shot by CoolBluez Photography captures the festivities, bridal fashions and fun events in an evocative montage

Melodies and memories come together this beautiful wedding video where bride Divya and groom Shivam are captured in dreamy frames from the beginning to the end

Divya met Shivam at high school and they instantly hit it off well. They remained friends for a long time, before enjoying a courtship of nine years. Their melodious wedding video shot by CoolBluez Photography captures special moments of their wedding with beautiful soundtracks and slow-motion frames.

Cinematographer Pawandeep Singh and his wife Surpreet Kaur comprise CoolBluez Photography. They chose the famous ‘Afreen’ song by maestro Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan as the background score for the first half of the wedding video which shows Divya in her bridal finery and Shivam looking regal in his groom’s ensemble. The shots of the flames during the pheras, the bride looking at the groom lovingly, twirling around in a vibrant lehenga and other lovely ensembles, he gazing at her happily during the reception – such moments get elongated thanks to the clever inclusion of slow-motion editing.

The tempo shifts suddenly in the middle half of the wedding video to the more upbeat track ‘In The Name of Love’ by Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha. The rhythm is perfect for candid shots of guests dancing, energetic stage performances and Shivam making his entry for the wedding ceremony as dhol drummers add an infectious beat to the heady ambience which includes impressive decor arrangements. The film transitions into a super flashback mode which introduces the viewers to a quirky pool party that slowly changes into a glamorous sangeet night, replete with revelry and splendor.

This wedding film has a music video feel and does not feature interviews of the couple or their family and friends. It is a joyous montage of memories where the scenes and smiles speak for themselves.
