Aashna Sharma and Utfal Arora, The Westin Goa
A boho haldi, a glitzy sangeet to a highly customised reception narrating their journey of love - this couple’s destination wedding in Goa had it all!
Aashna Sharma and Utfal Arora’s wedding in Goa was nothing less than a fairytale come to life with vibrant themes planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – F5 Weddings. Designing each celebration was WeddingSutra Favorite – Nazara, who at the crux of every design conveyed the couple’s heartwarming journey of love. Photographing the couple as they took the plunge into marital bliss was WeddingSutra Favorite – Magic Motion Media.
Wedding Planning
F5 weddings took the lead on the planning front and ensured the couple’s guests had a gala time while the to-be-weds savored their big day to the fullest. Ajay and Purvi Modgil from F5 weddings share, “Right from planning the itinerary, shortlisting the venue for each event to locking in essential vendors, our team was on their toes throughout the wedding. We also managed the hospitality and logistics for all the guests to ensure that the couple didn’t have to get into the nitty gritty details.”
Nazara was at its creative best on the design front, coming up with detailed setups that conveyed the couple’s journey. The reception event design was especially heartfelt, giving the guests a peek into the couple’s journey. Kriti from Nazara shares, “Set against the breezy charm of The Westin Goa, this wedding unfolded over five thoughtfully curated events, each reflecting the couple’s unique vision. From a warm welcome dinner to a showstopping reception, every detail was crafted with intention—from Tulum-inspired hues for the haldi to a jungle-themed sangeet turned speakeasy, and a contemporary mandap free of traditional trussing. At its core, the celebration was a soulful blend of style and storytelling—most memorably captured in the photo-gallery tunnel that left guests both awed and deeply moved.” Magic Motion Media photographed the couple’s candid moments as they celebrated their union surrounded by their loved ones.
Wedding Functions
Chooda
Aashna’s chooda ceremony radiated traditional charm with its brass urlis, diya stands and fragrant tuberoses. Accentuating the earthy architecture of the venue were hues of red that looked striking against the lush green foliage.
Sangeet
For their sangeet, the couple pulled all the stops when it came to glamour. Hosted indoors and lit up by elegant crystal chandeliers, the sangeet had everyone showcasing their best moves. The couple’s favorite numbers kept the dance floor packed till the wee hours of the morning!

Haldi
The haldi was a mix of boho elements and whimsical floral decor that looked stunning under the sunlit sky. Macrame parasols, larger-than-life blooms crafted of cane and lush foliage, completed the decor.

Wedding
The wedding looked straight out of a dream, with a wedding mandap adorned with suspended white blooms and pastel pink lattice-work pillars. The white aisle lined with white blooms contrasted beautifully with the blue sky.

Reception
Kriti Sharma from Nazara shares her take on the reception design, “Our couple’s love story was at the heart of every design choice, but there was one special request that made the Reception even more personal—they wanted their journey to be woven into the décor in a way that felt immersive and meaningful. Instead of simply displaying photos, we turned the entry tunnel into a photo exhibition gallery, a walk-through narrative of their love.
As guests entered, they weren’t just stepping into a celebration; they were stepping into the couple’s world—moments frozen in time, milestones beautifully framed, and memories brought to life through carefully curated visuals. Each image told a story, leading up to the grand finale of their wedding festivities. It wasn’t just an entrance; it was an experience—one that made every guest feel even more connected to the couple before the night unfolded in a sea of deep red elegance.”
