Wedding Functions
Mehndi
Foiled pink parasols, fun seating areas on the lawn and upcycled carpets made the mehndi event a laid-back one. After the women got their hands patterned with henna, they made their way to the favors counter where colorful bangles were gifted to them along with a variety of bindis.
Haldi
Hosted by the pool, the haldi was a sunkissed and fun celebration. Flaunting a Gujarati edge, the haldi had many artists dressed in garba attire to entertain the guests. And, after a while, the guests joined in the dance themselves as they indulged in an energetic dandiya session! Later, everyone splashed in the pool to cool down.
Sangeet
After the refreshing haldi, it was time to amp up the glamour levels with a high-octane sangeet. Elegantly designed with silver and ivory elements, the events had everyone dancing to their favorite tunes. Disco balls gleamed under the spotlight while ambient lights set the mood for an energetic celebration. Additionally, an artist playing the Guzheng (a classic Chinese instrument) made the sangeet even more memorable.
Chinese wedding
With red being considered an auspicious color in Chinese weddings, this celebration sported hues of scarlet and followed Chinese wedding ceremonies like presenting elders with cups of tea to honor them. Red lanterns were suspended from the ceiling while a red backdrop with inscriptions in Mandarin gave the union a traditional vibe.
Bengali Wedding
The beachside Bengali wedding was swathed in hues of ivory. A minimalistic ivory mandap and lanterns lit up the sundowner wedding. As the bride made an elegant entry in her red banarasi saree, the guests were enchanted. Later fireworks lit up the sky to celebrate the couple’s union. After the wedding celebrations, the newlyweds also hosted a cocktail party where heartfelt toasts, fun dance performances and a wide dancefloor kept everyone occupied.
