Wedding Planning
Hosted in the city of lakes, the destination wedding saw three days of festivities at Aurika, Udaipur – Luxury by Lemon Tree Hotels. The couple had distinctive ideas for all of their functions and entrusted the team of F5 Weddings to plan and execute their vision aptly. Regarding their experience with team F5, they share, “It was a wonderful experience working with them. From understanding what we wanted to taking care of little details and keeping a constant check on everything, they just made it all so easy for us while planning the wedding. Wedding Functions
Mehndi
The festivities kickstarted in grand Rajasthani style to welcome the groom’s side of the family. The bride’s side started things off on a high note with their dazzling dance moves in a surprise performance, taking the evening forward with a Mehndi sundowner by the pool. Breezy drapes, lounge lights, wooden structures and soft florals set an earthy, boho vibe for a night of music and dance. Traditional dancers wowed everyone with their folk performances.

La Folie
Aptly named ‘La Folie’ which translates to madness in French, the first function of the next day got everyone in high spirits with vibrant interiors and non-stop enjoyment. Stunning decor of white and blue set a lively tone and included many drapes, Rajasthani pottery, wicker baskets and quirky prints with a dash of yellow for some freshness. A lot of guest interactions, games, music and dance made the function all the more memorable.

Sangeet
The evening continued with an electric Sangeet soiree brimming with glam decor and decadent revelries. The couple entered with a fun flash mob by their friends who led them into the venue dancing to ‘Shaam Shandar’. The evening saw exuberant performances and enjoyment which continued into the after-party with musician Parleen Gill who had everyone dancing into the night.

Haldi
The next day began with a Phoolon Ki Haldi function where the couple entered to Punjabi Dhols doing fun boliyans that made every guest present get up from their seats & groove along. Opting for a fun contrast, the couple chose a soft decor of mint green, yellow and white for a delicate, modern feel that beautifully accented the venue. The ceremony was brimming with emotions as their loved ones gathered around to douse them with turmeric paste.

Wedding
The groom made the most of the venue’s grandeur and traditional heritage by going all out with a high-octane Baraat, arriving with great splendor. The bride on the other hand arrived with an entourage of 12 Banarasi pandits holding tall diyas, walking under the phoolon ki chaddar escorted by her parents as fireworks lit up the sky. The magnificent floral decor fulfilled their vision of modern royalty accompanied by tons of cold pyros and fireworks that cast a surreal charm over the festivities even as they exchanged varmalas excitedly. Musical pheras enhanced the ceremony, even more, making the whole experience as unforgettable as it gets.
