How They Met
Ashwitha shares, “We first met on a lively Thursday evening at a charming bar in London. The atmosphere was buzzing with energy, filled with the hum of conversations and the clinking of glasses. Amidst the dimly lit ambience and the smooth jazz playing in the background, we struck up a conversation that flowed effortlessly, discovering common interests and sharing stories.”

The Proposal
Viveks shares, “In secret, I arranged an exquisite picnic complete with vibrant flowers, a bottle of champagne, and professional photographers ready to capture every precious moment. On the day of the proposal, I suggested to my girlfriend that she dress nicely for a casual beach outing.
As we left our hotel, we strolled leisurely down to the beach. I led her along the shoreline, guiding her to a secluded spot where our picnic awaited. Her eyes widened in surprise and delight at the sight of the elegant setup – a blanket adorned with flowers, the champagne sparkling and a picnic. At that moment, I took a deep breath, dropped to one knee, and asked her to marry me. Her eyes filled with tears of joy as she said ‘yes!’. We spent the rest of the evening celebrating our engagement, savouring the delicious picnic, and watching the sunset in a breathtaking display of colors over the ocean. It was a perfect, magical evening that marked the beginning of our forever, beautifully captured for us to cherish for a lifetime.”

Wedding Planning
“From the moment we got engaged, we knew we needed someone exceptional to help bring our dream wedding to life. The entire team was an absolute delight to work with. Their attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism made the planning process smooth and enjoyable. They took the time to understand and translate our vision into reality that perfectly reflected our personalities and stories. From the beautiful floral arrangements and elegant décor to the seamless coordination on the big day, every aspect of the wedding was perfectly planned and executed. Their network of top-notch vendors provided exceptional services, and they coordinated with each one to ensure everything ran smoothly allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our special day without any worries. They are incredibly passionate about their work and went above and beyond, adding personal touches and thoughtful details that made our wedding unique and unforgettable. Our guests were in awe, and we received countless compliments on how beautifully everything came together,” the newlyweds shared.

Samidha Bansal Weddings by Evensia shares, “The uniqueness of this wedding lay in convincing the bride’s family, who are Telugu, to hold the wedding in Rajasthan despite their initial preference for Bangalore. We ensured that their specific requirements were met, including bringing in their pandit from Hyderabad and conducting all functions following their rituals. This included arranging an authentic Telugu lunch prior to the wedding ceremony, making the experience seamless and culturally respectful.”

Pellikuthuru
In Telugu culture, the Pellikuthuru ceremony is equivalent to the haldi ceremony. It is an event where the groom’s family is welcomed by the bride’s side to signify the beginning of a new chapter in the couple’s life. In Ashwitha’s case, it was a close-knit celebration adorned in elegant hues, auspicious banana leaves, and fragrant blooms.

Haldi
On the groom’s side, the haldi was an energetic celebration with blue and yellow hues. Hosted by the pool, everyone basked under the sun and soaked in the pool. The couple made a dashing entry with their friends holding colorbombs aloft to welcome them while a large dancefloor kept everyone busy! Inspired by the local blue pottery art, the backdrops contrasted with the yellow blooms perfectly.

Sangeet
As evening fell, the couple amped up the glam levels with a high-octane sangeet night. Disco balls, whimsical crystal birds, LED butterflies, and foliage were suspended from the ceiling to give the venue an ethereal look. Ambient lights and pulsing Bollywood beats added to the magic. A large dancefloor ensured everyone had their time under the spotlight.

Wedding
For their big day, the couple kept it simple, timeless and sophisticated. White hues, lotus blooms and illustrations gave the venue a pristine aura. Gilded elements added a touch of glamour. The bride entered hand in hand with her parents for the varmala ceremony which was celebrated with cold pyros. Suspended white blooms and rich green foliage decorated the wedding mandap.

Advice For Couples
“Our advice to brides and grooms planning their weddings in 2024/25 is to ensure you start the planning process as soon as possible to secure your desired venue and vendors. Prioritise what aspects of the wedding are important to you (e.g. the venue, photography, food) and take your time to read reviews and meet vendors in person or virtually to ensure they understand your vision. Try to make a memorable experience for your guests by providing clear information and thoughtful amenities to make your guests feel welcome and well cared for.
We also recommend that you always trust your instincts and the expertise of your wedding planner. During our journey, we found that leaning on our planner’s guidance and insights alleviated stress and enhanced the entire experience. They bring a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the table, helping transform your vision into reality while navigating through any challenges that may arise,” shared the couple.
