Wedding Planning
“Our beautiful couple, originally from Gujarat and now based in New York, chose the majestic Alsisar Nahargarh, Ranthambore as the destination for their dream wedding,” shares Neha Mehrotra of Foreign Wedding Planners. “The moment they laid eyes on the enchanting Hathi Kund, they knew—it was the perfect place for their wedding ceremony. As planners, we aimed to craft a celebration that felt deeply personal yet visually grand, one that reflected Bhavika and Amol’s spirit as a couple. From orchestrating a baraat that echoed to the bride’s suite, to executing a floating mandap surrounded by thousands of candles, and managing a seating plan with personalized tags for 350 guests, every detail was curated with intention. What made this wedding truly special was the joy and trust the families brought to the process. It allowed us to push creative boundaries while ensuring every guest felt part of something intimate, immersive, and unforgettable.”
Wedding Functions
Sangeet and Cocktail
The festivities commenced with a high-octane Sangeet and Cocktail evening. Family and friends came together for soul-stirring performances and celebratory dancing that set the tone for the days ahead. “We wanted the evening to feel like a musical celebration of love—and it truly was,” shares Neha Mehrotra from Foreign Wedding Planners. The night’s highlight was a live band’s spectacular performance, with guests swaying to a crescendo of traditional garba followed by pulsating Bollywood beats, making it an unforgettable start to the wedding.
Haldi and Mehndi
The next morning brought with it the joyful hues of the Haldi and Mehndi. Bursting with energy, this daytime celebration saw guests engaging in tug-of-war matches and traditional games, echoing the cheer of an Indian mela. A chaat-inspired food menu and a charming kullad chaiwala cycling through the venue added delightful rustic touches.
Wedding
If one moment captured the grandeur of Bhavika and Amol’s wedding, it was the legendary baraat. “The groom had just one request—his bride should hear the baraat from her room. We took that to heart,” Neha recalls. The procession featured a magnificent ensemble: 25 Puneri Dhol players from Nashik, 6 Punjabi dholis, decorated camels and horses with uniformed riders, a DJ truck, vintage car escorted by umbrella-bearing darbans, and even safari gypsies for the family—all amplified with SFX and percussion. The spectacle was nothing short of a royal parade.
The baraat culminated in a breathtaking wedding ceremony held on a floating mandap at Hathi Kund, surrounded by a sea of flickering candles. As the rituals concluded, the newlyweds were welcomed amidst a dazzling display of 400 pyros, a magical moment etched in every guest’s memory. The night concluded with an elegant sit-down Gujarati thali dinner for 350 guests.
Jungle Safari, Cricket and Karaoke
In the spirit of adventure and fun, a pre-reception jungle safari was arranged for over 250 guests, offering a unique bonding experience. This was followed by a spirited cricket match between Team Bride and Team Groom—complete with customised jerseys and IPL-style commentary. Meanwhile, the amphitheatre resonated with joy as senior family members indulged in a nostalgic karaoke session featuring beloved Gujarati classics.
Reception
The evening began with a sophisticated cocktail hour accompanied by a live violinist and a dramatic fire show, setting an opulent tone. Emotional speeches, choreographed family dances, and striking couple entries followed, each choreographed with finesse. A true feat of planning, the reception featured an intricately arranged seating plan with 350 personalised chair and table tags. “We worked on digital floor plans for months. Every detail—down to each QR-coded seat assignment—was mapped out to perfection,” Neha shares.
As the formalities gave way to the after-party, the atmosphere shifted to one of unfiltered celebration. With a high-energy DJ set, flowing cocktails, and dance floors overflowing with joy, the night came to a euphoric close.
