How They Met
Bhavika shares, “Pritesh and I met through a mutual friend in 2015 and it was a whirlwind romance as we fell in love within a span of a few months. Once we realized the chemistry between us, there was absolutely no looking back!”

The Proposal
Gushing about her surprise proposal, Bhavika goes on to share, “After I’d completed my final year exams, my parents gave me tickets to Dubai as a surprise gift for all the hard work I’d put in. My sisters and I quickly jetted off to Dubai where we had a great time exploring the sights and sounds of this megapolis. As another surprise for me, my sisters had planned a fine dining experience at Burj Al Arab and once we reached there, we were treated to a buggy ride where the hotel staff gave us a tour of the views. And suddenly as I turned around on the beach, Pritesh was standing there looking dapper with a bouquet of roses clutched in his hands. The question was popped and after an excited ‘yes!’ from my side, I experienced one of the most memorable nights of my life as I celebrated with my best friend/ soon-to-be husband and sisters.”

Wedding Planning
Acknowledging the importance of having a team of expert vendors on their team in order to have a glitch-free wedding, the duo roped in popular names in the wedding industry. On the photography front, they relied on UK Frameworks who impressed them with their talent and hard work. Bhavika shares, “Both Pritesh and I agree that choosing UK Frameworks was by far the best decision that we made while planning our wedding. They delivered beyond our expectations and it was quite clear from the first meeting itself that we got along extremely well. As they captured our wedding, everyone was at complete ease quite unlike situations where people often feel conscious in front of the lens. All our pictures and videos have come out beautifully and chronicle all the emotions we felt during those precious moments. We highly recommend this team!”

Adding to the team were decorators Mistique Events, makeup artists Gini Bhogal along with Luxor Music UK, and Beats by Lions who made sure everyone was well entertained with peppy beats.

Weddings Functions
Mehndi
Following a peacock theme, the duo decided to match outfits and chose an emerald hue for the same. Leaving no stone unturned to make sure they looked perfect, they had their outfits customized by a designer based in India.

Wedding
“Since we were getting married in the summer, we chose a floral theme for all the functions that not only echoed well with the season but also looked elegant. Keeping that in mind, we chose an ‘enchanted forest’ theme for our wedding ceremony which exuded magical vibes. We were extremely lucky to have a warm day during the ceremony and the pastel hues used in the decor just tied everything together seamlessly while matching with our mint-colored outfits.”, shares the bride.

Reception
“For the reception, we went for a ‘dark floral’ theme and equipped the venue with a circular gold dancefloor that invited everyone to shake a leg. It also added a touch of reflection to the room which, in turn, made the other decor elements like the flowers and the candles look stunning. Additionally, we also had crystal candle holders scattered across the venue to cast a golden glow upon the guests as they celebrated with us.”

Advice For Couples
Sharing her tips with couples who’re looking to tie the knot, Bhavika says, “Getting the right suppliers on board is extremely important as it ensures that everything runs smoothly on the big day. Secondly, try to build a good rapport with all your vendors as they’ll be with you on your wedding day and it’ll help them understand you better to deliver the right results. Lastly, enjoy each and every minute to the fullest. Planning a wedding is no cakewalk but it’s a beautiful journey and it will be what you make of it.”
