The destination wedding of Bhavika Jain, a software engineer, and Ritesh Pokharna, an accountant, in Rawla Shargun, Kumbhalgarh, was a picture of luxury with a touch of royal elegance. Planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Showmania Events, the celebrations unfolded in style with each event giving a unique glimpse into the couple, their aesthetics and the fun they had planned for their guests.
Wedding Planning
At the outset Bhavika and Ritesh shared that they wanted the wedding decor to be a perfect blend of royal elegance and personal touches. They aimed for a luxurious, rich, and detailed look that still felt warm and inviting.
Each event was to have a unique style fitting its mood — from pastel freshness at the haldi to glamorous and fairy-tale-like settings for the Sangeet and a grand aesthetic backdrop for the wedding itself.
Wedding Planning
Haldi and Carnival
The Haldi ceremony was accompanied by a Carnival. Soft pastel hues and fresh flowers, set the tone for a fun day with quirky games and interactive booths, such as a live caricature counter. The couple’s entry, dances and balloon set the mood for a fun celebration ahead.
Sangeet
The glamourous sangeet was highlighted by a crystal Pegasus installation at the venue. Shimmery outfits and the stage dances added to a fairy-tale atmosphere.
Mayra
This Marwari pre-wedding ritual spoke to the couple’s traditions. It had a simple décor with a gulaabi (rose) touch, with the family showering their blessings on the couple.
Wedding
With a backdrop of the majestic mountains, the wedding featured an elegant, aesthetic décor that complemented the grandeur of the day. A special request was made to ensure everything looked luxurious with exceptional attention to every detail, which was beautifully executed. The groom arrived on a horse, accompanied by a joyful baraat. The bridal entry under the Phoolon Ki Chadar was ethereal. The ceremony was followed with a fireworks celebration.
