Harnoor Gauba Goel and Jatin Goel, Suryagarh, Jaisalmer
This couple went all out with their opulent wedding celebrations that ranged from a Dior-themed mehndi, a cocktail party on the dunes, a regal phera ceremony and a neon youngster’s party!
Hosted amidst the heritage beauty of Jaisalmer, Harnoor Gauba Goel and Jatin Goel’s wedding was a spectacular celebration packed with opulence. Understanding the couple’s vision precisely WeddingSutra Favorite – Copper Events orchestrated the events seamlessly.
Prateek Tandon from Copper Events shares the vision shared by the couple and how his team made it come to life, “Right from the get-go we were briefed by the couple to craft a visual safari delight. They were incredibly smitten by the modern and vibrant design aesthetic which is so often seen in the creations made by the iconic fashion brand Dior. So, as we planned the events and curated the themes, we also heavily referred to Dior’s way of styling and its use of colors.” Ensuring design precision was The A-Cube Project who with their creativity created a series of jaw-dropping setups.
Surrounded by the regal Rajasthani architecture and adorned with earthy elements, the mehndi was a joyful celebration where the couple entered to the sound of dhols. Adorned with pampas grass, ivory vases, gypsos and furnishings upholstered with delicate botanical prints reminiscent of Dior’s iconic bags – the event exuded classy elegance.
Opting for a glam color palette of gold and green alongside monochrome elements, the sangeet had everyone letting their hair down. A star-studded performance with Bollywood music composer Pritam and Indian Idol winner Abhijeet Sawant had everyone swaying.
Hosted under the open starlit sky on the dunes of Jaisalmer, the cocktail was a larger-than-life event. Flanked by dancers, the couple made a stunning entry to the party and the evening kicked off with energetic performances by live singers. A colourful entryway, a vast stage and a plethora of entertainers ensured that the party was an absolute hit!
For the Sikh wedding, serenity and romance took the front seat with a pink-hued wedding ceremony. A canopy of pink drapes contrasted with the lush green of the garden venue. Comfy cushions ensured everyone was comfortable as the couple took part in the rituals. A chandelier crafted out of red and pink roses along with an aisle lined with lavender blooms completed the look.
Raising the bar high when it came to traditional glamour, the couple’s Hindu wedding ceremony was adorned with an intricate wedding mandap, an elaborate floral setup, plush furnishings and brass candelabras. After a grand varmala ceremony surrounded by sparkling cold pyros, the couple proceeded to the mandap whose design was inspired by the architectural style of Rajasthan. After the ceremony, the celebration dinner was hosted under a canopy of plush red with a live performance by iconic Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam.
After their destination wedding celebrations in Rajasthan, the couple hosted a stunning Youngster’s Party in Gurugram that resembled a neon disco. With elaborately costumed entertainers mingling with the guests, a vast dancefloor and celebrity performers like Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar, it’s safe to say that everyone had a gala time!
