Meghna and Devansh, Jaipur

The vivid blues of the Greek island of Santorini inspired the decor at this bride's mehndi in Jaipur.

Meghna and Devansh first met as post-graduate students in Manchester, UK. Their friendship evolved into a romance which endured the challenges of a long-distance relationship, till they finally tied the knot at a lavish wedding in Jaipur.

Weddings Functions
Mehndi
The decor for the mehndi was largely inspired by the blue tones of the stunning Greek island of Santorini and was punctuated by pops of pink blooms. A breezy and relaxed affair, the event saw guests dance to their favorite tunes and get henna patterns applied on their hands. Dressed in a pink one-shoulder lehenga, Meghna twirled around to her heart’s content and paired her outfit with a blue shimmery eye look that reflected the theme of the event.

Sangeet
Adding a touch of glamor to the proceedings was the ‘qawali’ themed sangeet whose decor was inspired by Mughal motifs. With a huge stage that encouraged everyone to shake a leg, this event saw the bride and groom perform a duet on stage. Dressed in an off-white lehenga depicting vintage scenery, Meghna looked radiant, and she was joined by Devansh who contrasted her in a black bandhgala with floral designs.

Wedding
Meghna and Devansh’s wedding echoed the ‘Royal Traditional Palace’ theme with decor that included fairy lights, red drapes and vivid blooms. After an emotional garlanding ceremony, the bride and groom proceeded to the red and white mandap where they took their pheras under the starry night sky. Channeling her inner princess in a pink and white shimmery lehenga, Meghna was all smiles as she looked lovingly at Devansh who chose an off-white and gold sherwani for the occasion.
