Kriti Sharma from Nazara shares, “Pavithra was very clear since day one that she wants something which has not been done before. She met multiple designers but finally, after brainstorming with us, we were roped in to design her wedding. She has been so invested in ensuring the decor looked great and it felt like a genuine collaboration where we exchanged exciting ideas.”

She adds, “Only challenge was most of the family was outside India. We literally designed this wedding over a zoom call. Plus, the wedding was held as per Tamil and Punjabi traditions.”

Kriti shares, “It was an event that was to be hosted during the day as well as the evening. A colour palette of purples and oranges added a pop of colour to the venue which contrasted with the greenery. Plus, the lights also added to the ambience as everyone got their palms patterned with henna.”

Haldi
Kriti shares, “The Haldi was based on a quirky truck art theme to make the event playful. From using auto linens, masala boxes filled with Holi colours, cutting chai glass to stuffed toys, the venue was filled with unique elements that kept everyone intrigued.”

Wedding
Kriti shares, “The next day, we hosted a Tamil-style wedding early in the morning on the lawns. The prints used across the venue were custom-made and we added mirror detailing on the cushion and at the bar to add a dash of glam. Overall, we wanted the decor to exude a sense of serenity mixed with desi vibrance.”

Reception
Kriti shares, “The reception was quite simple, the grand finale of the celebration and the bride was keen on making it look like a soiree. To make this vision come true we lit up the venue with candles. Approximately 25 chandeliers were used to deck up the entry and more than 5000 candles were strategically placed across the venue. Adding to it were emerald green brocade and ivory-hued design elements.”
