Wedding Venue
Rugged and romantic, Taj Aravali Resort and Spa in Udaipur with state-of-the-art facilities and luxurious rooms ensured that the couple’s loved ones were indulged at every step of the way. And, with 27 acres of the venue’s expansive grounds at their disposal, Prachi and Devanshu had a gala time planning the wedding of their dreams. The resort’s large ballrooms and lawns gave them ample space to include fun decor elements while the majestic beauty of the surrounding nature added flair to the grand wedding.

Wedding Planning
Ashi Tanwar and Shobhit Jain from The Event Casa share, “Both, Prachi and Devanshu share a love for contemporary design but at the same time are very rooted in their Marwari culture. So, while planning this wedding we wanted to strike a fine balance between both these qualities to ensure that the entire family enjoyed the festivities. Each event was given a unique color palette and theme. Every last detail was taken into consideration and thankfully, the wedding went ahead without any hold-ups or hiccups!”

Weddings Functions
Welcome Dinner
Ashi Tanwar from The Event Casa shares, “Both Prachi and Devanshu are fun individuals and the first event was a bohemian-themed welcome dinner where the ice was broken. Reflecting the couple’s personalities, the dinner was punctuated by groovy music while the duo did a catchy swing dance entry!”

Haldi
The haldi took the more conventional route with its all-yellow decor that looked vibrant in the sunshine. Yellow-hued tassels were suspended over the dancefloor while the couple had a gala time dancing to the beats of the dhol and a seating area with a floral arch was the highlight of the event where the guests applied haldi to the couple.

Bhaat
A customary function at Marwari weddings where gifts are exchanged, Prachi and Devanshu’s bhaat ceremony consisted of a modern decor story. Shobhit Jain from The Event Casa shares, “To make the ceremony fun, we added bright multi-hued furnishings, drapes and decorative hangings that were suspended from the branches of the tree.”

Sangeet
For the sangeet, the glamour levels knew no bounds as the couple put their most stylish foot forward and celebrated throughout the night! Ashi shares, “A multitude of chandeliers were hung and they lit up the venue. We went heavy with the crystals to give the event an elegant yet glitzy look while entertainers took to the stage and made everyone sway on the dance floor.”

Carnival
Shobhit shares, “The carnival event was hosted at an open-air venue and swathed with pastel hues. Right from the dancefloor to the decor setups – almost everything was in hues of pastel. Plus, the guests had the time of their lives as they engaged in larger-than-life games of shooting the dart and knocking down bottles.”

Wedding and Reception
For the final celebration, no stone was left unturned as the planning team went all out in their quest for perfection. Ashi shares, “A beautiful floral mandap with Grecian-style columns was created for the wedding. Additionally, strategically placed fairy lights gave the couple a beautiful backdrop as they tied the knot under the starry sky. After the wedding rituals, the couple moved to a grand stage decorated with white blooms where they entered with sparkling cold pyros and traditional dancers.”
