High school friends turned life partners Shrutika and Shubham’s love story found a new beginning against the stunning landscape of Doha, Qatar where the couple celebrated their wedding planned & designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Saffron String. Choreographing the wedding and ensuring the couple was at their graceful best was WeddingSutra Favorite – Sumit Khetan Entertainment Co.

Wedding Venue
For their grand wedding, the couple chose Doha in Qatar as their destination where they could celebrate extravagantly. Met with jaw-dropping views and luxurious amenities, the couple’s guests were bowled over by the beauty of the place. And, to top it all off, they flew in via a chartered flight where the family had a fun time during their transit.

Wedding Planning
Planned by Saffron String, the couple faced no hiccups as they celebrated their destination wedding in a grand manner. With the guests staying at Fairmont Doha, they were indulged by the couple and every aspect of their hospitality was looked into by the planning team.

Keeping the energy high was WeddingSutra Favorite – DJ Alex Mumbai who played a mixture of spirited beats to match the mood of the guests.

Weddings Functions
Welcome
After their chartered commute to Doha, the couple and their families were welcomed in a grand way to the welcome high-tea hosted at the Fairmont Doha’s ballroom. Cheerful dancers, floral installations, cooling drinks, and a handy helpdesk simplified the check-in process. Everyone had a relaxing time at this event and enjoyed the venue’s hospitality.

Winter Wonderland Experience (Winter Wonderland)
White blooms and a minimalistic decor made the event at Winter Wonderland-themed event a perfect place for the couple’s family to mingle freely. Flanked by dancers, the to-be-weds made a stunning entrance as their loved ones cheered on. Neha Seth Arora from Saffron String shares, “The key attraction of Doha, Winter Wonderland, was an absolute delight for our guests, offering a power-packed experience that left them thrilled. The planning had meticulously designed the entertainment, food and fun to cater to everyone’s needs and tastes, ensuring everyone was having fun.”

Myra
Flaunting a unique Pichwai theme, the myra hosted at the Fairmont Doha’s ballroom was a traditional event that was swathed in vibrant hues. Vintage pichwai paintings and a floral backdrop that depicted Lord Shreenathji gave the event an auspicious vibe.

Sangeet
A colossal stage, Bollywood chartbusters and colourful spotlights made the sangeet a high-energy event! However, the most surprising performance of all was their Choreographer Sumit’s as he set the stage on fire with his graceful moves and left the bride speechless. Recollecting the grandeur of the sangeet Neha from the planning team shares, “From the opulent ambience that seamlessly intertwined with the festivities, to the meticulous attention given to every seating arrangement, and the meticulously curated acts ingeniously conceived – the evening was a true spectacle of delight and mirth. However, the venue which elevated this extraordinary affair to unprecedented heights, was the illustrious Katara Ballroom at the Fairmont Doha.”

On the choreography front, Sumit Khetan Entertainment Co. was on its toes as they captured some truly priceless moments. The happy couple shares, “The team felt like family. We have so many memories in our hearts that we’ll cherish forever. Those were the most magical days when his team choreographed our wedding and made it so grand. As a couple, they made us feel extremely comfortable and the number of practices, stage rehearsals, and props they used, made the process so easy.”

Take It Easy Brunch
Hosted under the open sky, the poolside Carnival-themed brunch on the Raffles Doha’s Aquadeck was filled with spontaneous dance performances and laughter-filled moments. Easy, breezy and giving everyone an opportunity to be exuberant, this celebration was a laidback one.

Wedding
Taking the grand route, the wedding had it all! Right from a high-tempo baraat, a graceful bridal entry to the floral mandap – everything looked regal as the couple tied the knot. Taking their pheras against the stunning backdrop, the couple looked picture-perfect! Neha shares, “The Baraat unfolded with an extraordinary fervour on the Promenade. However, what truly stole the breath away was the momentous varmala ceremony against the backdrop of the magnificent hotel that graced the enchanting Katara terrace. The floral mandap and the whole setting evoked a sense of wonder and awe as the seamless fusion of the majestic hotel backdrop, and the union of two souls created a symphony of emotions.
The wedding was then followed by the reception that took place on the Katara Hall.”
