Wedding Planning
Vishalini and Rohun’s Telugu wedding ceremony struck the perfect balance between fun and traditions with a contemporary edge. Gushing about their planners, The Wedding Experience, the happy couple goes on to share, “This four-day extravaganza in Udaipur was nothing short of a fairytale. Every detail, from the vibrant Haldi ceremony to the regal Sangeet and the dreamy pastel wedding, culminated in a grand reception that exuded cinematic splendor. A celebration of love, culture, and unparalleled beauty, our destination wedding was truly a once-in-a-lifetime affair. Thanks to the planning team, our wedding went ahead smoothly, and we could savor every moment of it!”
Charannya and Akram from The Wedding Experience add, “Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Udaipur, the city of lakes, this multicultural destination wedding was a grand affair planned meticulously over 1.5 years. The couple, hailing from Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, envisioned a four-day extravaganza with unique themes for each event, blending tradition with contemporary elegance.”

Wedding Functions
Haldi
Charannya and Akram from The Wedding Experience share, “The festivities commenced with a colorful Haldi ceremony, themed ‘Desi Summer Vibes’. The setup was a riot of colors and florals. Guests were welcomed with a floral installation at the central fountain, featuring a medley of sunflowers, tulips, chrysanthemums, and dahlias. Traditional block-printed umbrellas adorned circular tables draped in block-printed overlays, while terracotta pot flower vases added a rustic charm. Adding to the vibrancy, beautifully decorated carts displayed goodie bags and bangles for guests, while a guest wishing tree painting, a personal touch by the bride, invited heartfelt messages. The backdrop was kept minimal—a series of arches flanked by florals—to ensure the spotlight remained on the couple as they were smeared in turmeric by their loved ones.”

Sangeet
“The theme revolved around a rich purple palette, designed to enhance the palace’s natural grandeur without overwhelming its beauty. Lavender drapes cascaded across the arches, complemented by towering purple floral installations. The entire palace was bathed in a soft purple glow from strategically placed uplighters, setting a magical tone for the night.
The first rows of seating featured plush green sofas with glass coffee tables adorned with petite floral arrangements, followed by elegant transparent Dior chairs. Round tables draped in lavender satin overlays and mirror-top tables with exquisite floral centerpieces completed the setup. Twinkling fairy lights and chandeliers illuminated the palace trees, while grand floral installations at the entrance welcomed guests into an evening of dance and celebration”, recollect Charannya and Akram.

Wedding
The wedding was a dreamy affair, embodying the bride’s vision of soft pinks and pastels with a perfect blend of traditional and modern elements. “The entrance featured a series of Mughal arches, console tables with traditional floral arrangements, and a custom-printed carpet leading to the resort’s main deck area. Guests were welcomed with two charming carts—one offering tender coconut water and the other filled with delightful goodies, both adorned with traditional florals. Seating arrangements were thoughtfully decorated with pink tissue tiebacks, and personalized ritual cards with a fun crossword about the couple added an interactive touch. The mandap, the centerpiece of the ceremony, was a breathtaking vision of pastel florals, set against the stunning backdrop of Udaipur’s landscape. Delicate crystal chandeliers suspended above added a soft, romantic glow. Tables adorned with block-printed umbrellas and gold elephant centerpieces brought in an element of grandeur”, share Charannya and Akram.
Reception
“The theme was inspired by The Great Gatsby, with elegant shades of gold and black. Upon arrival at the jetty, guests were greeted by a flower-lined carpet leading to a unique “find your table” chart, personally curated by the couple. Each table was named after a movie or album cover, reflecting the guests seated there. From there, a walkway adorned with golden arches and chandeliers guided guests past thikri mirror side tables, crystal props, and floral arrangements on either side. A candle-adorned Mughal arch served as the perfect photo backdrop for guests. The walkway led to the main lawn, where a grand 60-foot stage stood, flanked by 16-foot-tall custom gold CNC panels in intricate Art Deco patterns. A semi-draped ceiling above the central arch created a stunning backdrop for the couple. Gold chandeliers and mirchi lights decorated the trees, enhancing the atmosphere. The lawn featured black satin-draped round tables with tall floral centerpieces, offering a sophisticated dining experience. A gold CNC-clad bar and a wall of shots added to the entertainment”, share Charannya and Akram.
