Join the enchanted journey of this couple’s dreamy ‘top of the world’ wedding at the luxurious Burj Al Arab.
One of the very first nuptials to be hosted at the exclusive Burj Al Arab hotel, Vivek and Shruti touched the sky in a grand, glamorous celebration of their union.
Wedding Venue
The couple opted for an outdoor wedding and chose the most exclusive seven star establishment of Dubai- The Burj Al Arab to exchange their vows. While the cocktail party was held at the Marina Garden, the wedding reception was hosted on the topmost floor of the 56-storey hotel and afforded some breathtaking vistas of the futuristic city of Dubai.
Wedding Décor and Design
With a ‘fairytale’ theme in mind, the management team, Event Chic Design, used a whimsical palette of white, pink and gold. A beautifully illuminated sunset-gateway entrance was created to welcome the bride and groom to a beautifully decorated white tent, where the couple tied the knot.
A floral design was the red thread through the entire aesthetic of the celebration with floral fairy lights casting a halo-like spell over guests as the ceremony progressed into the night. There were also beautiful flower arrangements along the entrance passageway with crystals and ethereal ‘cloud décor’ leading to an enchanting gazebo, where the cake cutting ceremony was organized. The spectacular fireworks display in the starry desert sky was the grand finale to an evening of absolute magic.
Wedding Dress and Look
Shruti chose a wonderful Indo-western inspired saree-gown in pale pink from Hazar Haute Couture. Her heavily embellished attire was accessorized with a stunning necklace and chandelier earrings from Aljazz jewellery. She wore her favorite pair of Manolo Blahnik heels to complete her entire look.
Her hair was tied back in soft waves; makeup kept to the minimum with just a touch of blush and some gold highlighter to accentuate her cheekbones and also to bring out her natural bridal glow.
Vivek wore a dapper three-piece suit that made him look every bit of a prince.
