How they met
Destiny often has a lot of surprises in store for us. Little did Piyush know that the girl he had a crush on in school but never had the courage to approach, would come across his desktop during his search for the perfect life partner. The moment his eyes lay on her photo, he knew this was fate giving him a second chance.
Wedding Venue
The bride shares, “Despite having dreamt of a destination wedding, we decided to tie the knot in our hometown of Ludhiana so that all our loved ones could be a part of it. Ours was a 4 day long big fat Punjabi wedding hosted at the beautiful Nirvana Resorts, a luxury establishment in Ludhiana where we arranged accommodation for all our guests.

Engagement
A magnificent entrance of red flowers and chandeliers welcomed the guests into the engagement festivities with a grand décor of white and blue. The bride’s shimmering gown by Falguni and Shane Peacock looked resplendent teaming elegantly with the groom’s suave tuxedo by Gaurav Gupta. The couple looked angelic dancing on the grand stage accompanied by a troop of professional dancers.
Mehndi
The sundowner Mehndi function was hosted by the poolside with fresh floral décor and a beguiling open backdrop. The bride’s yellow and icy blue lehenga by Anita Dongre perfectly complemented the groom’s yellow and blue Bandi jacket kurta set by Shantanu and Nikhil. Vibrant floral jewelry added a surprise pop of blue to her ensemble.
Cocktail
Exquisite floral installation of white blooms and eclectic lighting options enveloped the cocktail evening in delicate elegance. The couple looked divine in soft lavender outfits. Dazzling diamond jewelry added sparkle to the bride’s Mahima Mahajan ensemble.
Wedding
Under a mesmerizing canopy of flowers and magnificent chandeliers, the bride entered walking under a beautiful phoolon ki chadar of white and red blooms, led by dancing damsels in gold carrying towering diyas. As the stunningly decked up couple exchanged their vows, one couldn’t help but be awestruck by the dreamy grandeur of the festivities.

The bride shares, “From personal experience, I would advice to-be-brides to put in a lot of research into your outfits and jewelry. Try different styles and seek inspiration from Pinterest to create looks that would be the best of you.”
