How They Met
When Businessman Sidhant Choudhary crossed paths with Nutritionist Aakanksha Panwar at an airport in the US, little did they know they would be spending their lives together. But as they say, fate works in mysterious ways, and after 5 wonderful years of togetherness, they took the plunge and decided to tie the knot with their dream wedding.

Wedding Venue
The couple chose the sprawling property of ITC Grand Bharat, Gurugram as the perfect backdrop to their fairytale wedding. The all-suite luxury resort ensured an experience of unparalleled grandeur for their loved ones, while the magnificent indoor and outdoor venues offered the ideal canvas for their different functions.
Wedding Planning

Both Aakanksha and Sidhant wanted a hassle-free wedding high on fun and enjoyment and brought on board the team of Designer Events Inc to plan, design, and execute the festivities. The bride shares, “the planning process posed several challenges, not the least of which was the Pandemic. After having to postpone our big day, we wanted the details to come together just as we envisioned, and Designer Events Inc made it happen for us. They managed every last detail beautifully, and made our dream wedding happen against all odds”.

Wedding Functions
Engagement
The festivities started with an intimate engagement soiree imagined with the plush romantic decor of pastel blooms and candles. The royal architecture of the space was softly accentuated by delicate floral decor for an enchanting effect, perfect for the family-only affair. The couple opted for a gold couture gown and black tuxedo for the ring ceremony.

Mehndi
The next day started with a boho mehndi function full of fun, quirky energy reflecting the bride’s free spirit. The abstract decor in earthy pastel shades was designed with dream catchers, macrame art, lounges, cane furniture, pampas grass, and more for a laidback yet elegant feel. The bride and groom opted for breezy ensembles of blush pink and icy blue to perfectly match the mood of the occasion.

Cocktail
The chic Cocktail function channeled the essence and style of London, the city where their love began. From tonnes of London-themed memorabilia to a modish bar designed with themed posters and more, the function enveloped the guests in the couple’s love story. Artist Harrdy Sandhu set the stage on fire with his rousing tunes, while the couple and their loved ones got on the floor dancing to their hearts’ content.

Wedding
Inspired by the royal dining halls and Sheesh Mahals of Rajasthan’s iconic forts and palaces, the wedding was nothing short of spectacular. From rich brocades and thikri work to brass pots with rajnigandhas, custom cushions, diyas, candles, shamadans, and more, the decor wove a story of royalty and splendor. Famed Rajasthani artist Mame Khan amped up the regal setting with his enchanting tunes as the couple tied the knot. The bride shares, “Every last detail was perfectly executed, and the ceremony was a dream come true. Even the forecasted thunderstorm hit only after the vidaai, as though the heavens above were witnessing our love and showered their blessings as we completed our festivities”.
