Anchalika and Harshad’s Maharashtrian wedding in Pune was all about minimalistic elegance. WeddingSutra Favorite – Bombay Decorators & Contractors, took charge of transforming the venues with beautiful facades dreamed up by the couple. Here are some glimpses from the wedding celebrations.
Wedding Planning
Anchalika and Harshad both believe in elegance through simplicity and chose minimal, classy decor for their functions. The team at Bombay Decorators & Contractors provided stunning and subtle backdrops to complement rather than overpower the events. While drapes, flowers, chandeliers and lights made up the primary components of the decor; all these elements were used prudently to strike the perfect balance between opulence and elegance. Mehndi
The wedding festivities began with the bride getting her hands traced with henna designs.
Euphoria was the theme as all the ladies in the house contributed to Anchalika’s happy day.

Haldi
Draped in sunshine yellow, the bride sat beside her groom, both ready to be smeared with turmeric.
The couple’s playful romance was evident as they pulled faces during the ceremonies.
Hugs and kisses ensured that the bride was full of smiles as she shared poignant moments with her family.
The couple shared many sweet moments, which made for romantic shots.
The haldi ceremony concluded on a high note, as everyone present geared up for the boisterous sangeet to follow!
Sangeet
The stage was set for the big evening…
…where the couple later walked in, hand-in-hand.
The families put together stunning performances, which were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone present.
The bride didn’t hold back, shaking a leg on stage at her sangeet.
Anchalika and Harshad broke into a romantic jig, making their guests’ hearts melt.
However, it was this boisterous flash-mob performance by the couple and their friends that stole the show!
Wedding
Anchalika’s big day began with her dressing up in all her bridal finery.
The bride’s mother shared a poignant moment with her soon-to-be-wed daughter.
The moment finally arrived…
The mandap for the pheras was resplendent in pink and coral drapes, flowers and a beautiful floral Ganesha motif.
The couple wed in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony.
Harshad tied the holy thread of the mangalsutra around Anchalika’s neck, promising her a lifetime of commitment.
Right before the pheras, Harshad entered the venue again; this time dancing with his baraat.
The bride too had own special entry, under a beautiful phoolon ki chadar.
Amidst all the pomp and festivities, Harshad tied the knot with Anchalika.
Reception
Anchalika and Harshad’s wedding festivities concluded with a gorgeous reception.
The bride’s blue lehenga looked stunning against the subtle pink and coral backdrop.
The couple posed up a storm for the cameras….
